AHS Contractor arrived early, assessed problem with our central air conditioning unit , kept me informed of status along the way .Contractor( M******) was friendly ,knowledgeable & professional .Our system required additional parts & chemical Freon however AHS only covers $10 of the cost of the chemical Freon which is $160/pound.This part of contract needs to change ..even if half of the product was covered by the contract because some homeowners are really struggling ( like myself) so that cost is stressful. It is the AHS policy not the actual Contractor’s requirement so customers should not take their anger out on them .I’ve had an active contract for almost twenty years ..would not have a home without some type of coverage for repairs in this day & time of unexpected crisis !

I was very impressed with the process of submitting a request for service. The contractor contacted me in a timely manner. He showed up when he said he would. He was professional and knowledgeable about the problem and made recommendations for the future.

I have been having an ongoing problem with my dishwasher. The repair tech and the customer service reps that I have spoken to when I call the company are very courteous. However, the repair tech has been out to my home 3+ times over the last 2 months. My dishwasher still does not work and I have not heard anything about replacing this item. I would like a call back from a supervisor or manager to discuss this matter.

WOW! where do i began, today i have no heat after my heating system was repaired by Flint Electrical Co. last Friday Nov. 3rd. Company came out twice first to put a iginator on then came back and put a reducer on. System worked for 3days and now no heat again. AHS is a joke im on hold rigth now trying to reach them and recording said it will be 1 hour. "WHO HAS 1 HOUR TO STAY ON PHONE TO SPEAK WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE REP." I call them 6am this morning and told them my heat wasn't working. But' I have to stay on phone because i don't want here my wife all over again telling me get BGE here because she cold and uncomfortable we went through this same situation just last week. So AHS recommend that i call Flint electrcial Company only to be told that there to busy telling me they can't get to me until this Friday 10th and it's cold as shit now. I went thought same thing with Flint Electrical week ago with them closing on weekends i might not get my heat repaired this week especially if they have order parts. I just don't beleive im going through same things all over again not having heat and my wife all up set because home is cold.

Service is great until you need to discuss issues with a human. 1 hour or long wait on phone to even discuss payment issues are quite common. Once you reach a human response is very good.

Today is March 5,2012 and my initial service request to repair my Kenmore Elite washer was on January 17,2012. My washer is a Sears product in fact all my appliances come from Sears and I've had this coverage for at least 8 years. In the past when I made a service request they always sent a professional who knew what they were doing and fixed the problem by at least the second visit. Not true this time. the appliance repair company that was sent has been out 4 times and ordered parts 4 times. Each time a part was ordered I had to wait 7-10 days for a return appointment and each time I either had to call AHS or the company directly to get results. They have actually ordered 2 motors, a timer and a capacitor. STILL NOT RUNNING!! Now no one is calling to schedule an appointment to resolve my problem but instead I keep getting the run-around and no one seems to know why after spending $500 in parts what the problem really is. I call AHS 2-3 times a week now trying to get the problem resolved. They tell me the technichian that came out last hasn't called a report in and they can't do anything until they get his report. The appliance repair company claims they haven't seen the tech and he never called in. The bottom line is my washer is stll not running after almost two months and I feel like no one really cares. AHS did tell me about 3 weeks a go that they would send me a vochure for $60 for next time I needed service and I have yet to receive that!! I'm definitely going to cancel my contract and let everyone I know not to sign up with them. They are just taking premiums and not resolving my problem.
