I was disappointed to know that they do not cover semi detached townhouse roof. And I was told it would be covered when I signed up. So with all the bad weather I requested service and I was told it was not covered. So I was transferred to contracting who told me customer service was wrong. So they sent me back for customer service to so call investigate and it’s been 3 weeks they said they would call me back and they did not. Call contracting again to hear it’s covered. No one has called me back and I have made 4 calls, that were an hr long

AHS sent out an A/C contractor to "fix my a/c unit and furnace". The sub-par contractor came to my home and wanted to charge an additional $600 on top of the $100 service fee that AHS charged me. Their contractor never looked at the furnace which was also part of the work order because he claimed the weather was too hot. I called AHS explained the situation and was told that AHS could not send out another contractor until this work order was completed. I refused to pay the additional money to the subcontractor because I don't trust the 2 star reviews that the company had. AHS tricks people into thinking that they will cover repairs Or replace them if there are any issues- which is not the case. The subcontractor they sent out never fixed anything, instead they let out all the freeon in the system, by the time they left- my A/c unit did not work at all. How can the situation be worse? It felt like entrapment. After realizing that the countless calls to AHS yielded no help from customer service- I asked to cancel my account on 8/11/18. After the rep took all my information for the cancellation she asked me if I was sure I wanted to cancel or if i wanted her to put it on hold and have customer retention contact me regarding my situation. I was told by the rep that they might be able to help me and they would contact me in 2-3days. Nobody every reached out. I called multiple times trying to reach out to customer retention with no success. On 8/30/18 I made the second cancellation request. Explained to the rep that my cancellation was in hold -but nobody contacted me like they were supposed to- so I wanted to verify my cancellation. I was told there was nothing on hold, but she would take the information again and cancel my policy. On 8/20/18 and 9/14/18 and 10/22/18 I was charged 49.99 each month. Regardless of my phone call cancellation, I had to call an additional 3rd time to cancel my policy. Sit on the phone for another hour+. Explain my situation again for the 9th time and ask for my refund. They finally refunded me the partial amount $80. I called to ask why I have not been refunded for my service call of $100 towards the contractor that made my situation worse and never turned in the report. The total amount I should have been refunded from my first cancellation call on 8/11/18. Only to realize now that I was strategically told to hold off on my cancellation until customer retention called me back- which never happened both times that I was told that lie. For the countless hours on the phone, I would hope this business would not treat a client who experienced such a horrible experience with so little empathy. Today I was on the phone another 1hr and 17 min. Reaching out to customer retention again so that they could refund me the full amount. No success - I was on hold multiple times. Management is incompetent

Homeshield Warranty is definitely worth the worry free living it provides. It is nice to know there is someone to call to handle any appliance and other warranty repairs with no need to shop around.

Had an issue with plumbing, mainly the hot water faucet. Tech arrived for servicing while my wife was home. Some how this young kid they sent out broke the cold water faucet. I guess he was trying to fix something that wasn\'t broke, and now we can\'t turn it off!!! The sad part about it is I was told by AHS they can\'t send another company because it was broken by the tech sent, and that company would have to fix it. I asked about the undue stress of my water bill and it looks like I'm on my own for something that wasn't my fault!! To make matters worst, I still owe them a service fee ( I think should be waved by the company) after this incompetence. .

The Repair man was on time and efficient. Highly recommend this insurance for every home owner. Before I had this insurance I had a plumbing issue and it was 15 minute fix and a $300 dollar bill. I would rather pay ? anytime.

I am and have always been thrilled with the timeliness and professionalism that I experience with the customer service when I need a contractor to come to my home. The contractors/company that was sent to my home were always prompt, (sometimes early), precise in what they had to dao and did the job completely and concisely.
