I had two occasions to use American Home Shield in preparing my home for sale. One was an electrical problem with a light fixture (fixed the next day) and the other was a plumbing problem with sinks in both bathrooms (fixed in less than a week). Both repairmen were courteous, knowledgeable and there when I needed them!

Great service, though could be a little quicker. My furnace broke on Wednesday, I was contacting the company on Thursday, a contractor visit was scheduled for Friday to tell me - yes, it\'s broken, we need parts, but it\'s already Friday night and everything is closed till Monday. So eventually the parts were ordered on Monday and on Tuesday I got my heat back. Did not need emergency temporary heating as it was not outrageously cold, but it was offered, which was great. Overall, very satisfied. Worth the premium paid
