I regret obtaining a plan from them and do not recommend this company to anyone. I bought a plan based on reviews and because it was less expensive than competitors, but later I discovered it was all a scam. I\'ve ever received a worse service. Please don\'t act on the basis of the reviews. Every time you file a service request, the vendor\'s contact information is delivered, yet they never respond. They will then ask us to proceed with the technician of our choice and file a request for reimbursement . I have to make numerous phone calls and write numerous emails to find out the progress each time I submit a claim request. Although my agreement clearly states that it is covered, they claim that it was submitted for underwriter review and that it was ultimately denied because it won't cover.If you phone them repeatedly, they put you on hold with no answer. I am planning to file legal action.

I called home First Premier Home Warranty to file a claim and it was one of the nicest experiences I have ever had. I was so frustrated about the problem I called about. The claim representative T**** really made it easy for me to understand everything and put my mind at ease. Within a few hours he had a technician at my house diagnosing my washing machine, after the diagnosis our lovely technician called the authorization department at First Premier and had it approved within minutes!! Very satisfied with this company. I definitely recommend them!

Lowe’s Protection Plans
Worst Experience. Don\'t waste your money. I contacted Lowes about my broken Bosch dryer. First technician came to my home with no tools and after 5 minutes of looking at the dryer tells me he does not fix a stackable dryer. So we had someone unstack the dryer. When he came again (with not tools), he said the dryer was working even though the dryer stopped after 10 minutes when it was on a 2 hour setting. Contacted Lowes again. They sent another technician who said the dryer works because it heats. Considering the dryer did not run the duration of the time set. Long story short, dryer still not working and Lowe's response is we will send another technician. It has been a month, and I still have no dryer. Never again. If I could I would give zero stars.

Recently I had my pipes clogged in the kitchen. Unfortunately my laundry room is connected to the same system of pipes which prevented me from doing laundry as well. It took some convincing to get the representatives to expedite my request to have it done on a Sunday but finally they agreed. The technician came out timely and fixed my issue. I was so happy to be able to use my kitchen and do laundry.

I was most satisfied. I had prompt response to my plumbing problem. Needed a new water heater. The contractor was very capable and courteous. He did a quick and good job assessing the problem and was back with new water heater, well installed and worked hard in intense heat to get it done. He and his helper left the site very clean. I am very pleased with American Home Shield. I highly recommend the company to ALL home ownners. A couple of months ago, my garbage disposal was not working properly. I contacted AHS and within 24 hours, the contracted repair company contacted me. The very next day, my garbage disposal was repaired. The service technician was very friendly and knowledgeable of the operation of the garbage disposal. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes. What I really appreciate about the repair company was the time frame of the service technicians arrival. I did not have to waste valuable time sitting at home all day waiting for the person to arrive.

I've been with American Home Shield for almost ten years in three different residences. I still have two accounts and will continue to do so. When purchasing one condo, the escrow included a one year membership with another company. We changed that back to AHS as soon as it was possible. Regarding service visits, I have always been impressed with the contractors and their work. I've had repairs on a microwave, a ceiling fan, and a replacement of an older water heater. I have told my friends about AHS because I'm one of your biggest fans!

We were encountering electrical problems that included a Dishwasher, Disposal and 2 Temp instant Hot Water heater on the same Circuit Breaker. AMS sent an electrician who checked and cleared the electrical system of any fault. Next they sent a Dishwasher repairman who quickly gave us a thumbs up on that appliance and the Disposal unit. Last was a Plumber who checked out the (2) Temp Hot Water Heater under the sink and found it to be the faulty culprit, and quickly replaced the unit. We have had no further electrical problems. The Plumber said that he was sure the Dishwasher would have caused the problem, and the Dishwasher repairman said he would have blamed an overloaded circuit Breaker but that had already been checked out. All Service men were, clean, quick, and very professional - none being in the house more than 15 minutes.

I recently had a plumbing issue which I thought to be an easy fix. I contacted the manufacturer and ordered brand parts as the universal parts sold at the local hardware or plumbing stores did not fit. But as it turns out the problem could not be a DIY. Seems only someone who deals with these types of repairs and has networked with other plumbers knows the real fix. The plumber that AMS sent did the same trouble shooting that I had done, but when that failed he had resources and parts to address the problem. He was very polite, informative, and a clean worker.
