American Home Shield (AHS)
We are new to the program. Scheduled a plumber for a water spot on lower level ceiling. He was very timely and professional. He found a leak in our shower pan drain and fixed it in about 15 minutes. We had also discovered a small leak in a downstairs shower, but he was not allowed to look at that as we did not have that on our ticket and explained to us how each item needs to be on your request or it cannot be looked at.

I filed a claim for our washer on 1/2/2021 and the repairman came out a few days later. They said it would require a complete rebuild and he would not be able to find the parts so recommended replacement. He issued a report on 1/11/2021 to AHS that parts were not available. No one ever called us or even followed up until we called a week and a half later. I called dozens of times since then and no one ever had an answer beyond "we are waiting on authorization, please be patient, and we will call you back in 15 minutes." They never called back, not even once, and they never let you speak with a Supervisor. It has been over a month since the technician told them that the parts were no longer manufactured and sent them the report. I even called Sears directly several times to do research into what they were waiting on and I found out that they were not waiting on anything. They had the report for a month and never did anything with it. I will likely cancel the contract and pay for the washer out of pocket because I can no longer spend time on the phone with a company that is unresponsive and disrespectful with my time.

We have been very disappointed with the responsiveness and service on our refrigerator. We had a service call in early March from Sears who addressed the cooling issue. But it didn\'t last long and soon our freezer was no longer working right (popsicles will melt). We called for a second service and GE came this time. He said the Sears technician did not finish the job and he couldn't fit it. He said he would contact AHS and let them know. He never did. This was on Wed, May 23. We called AHS and they knew nothing. Said they would follow up with GE. We did not hear back from them on Thu or Fri. We called again on Fri and then again on Sat with the same response: AHS needs to talk with GE before they can reassign Sears. Meanwhile our refrigerator has completely stopped cooling and all of our food is spoiled. No resolution.
