They fulfilled one...View More claim I had to make on a garage door opener, but when a big ticket item went bad (air conditioner), they told me it had rust and was therefore not coverable. Rust was nowhere listed in the "sample policy" they provided to sell me the plan. After you pay, they email you a different policy document that is about 4x as long and has tons of additional exclusions. Also, they tell you you can get a prorated refund at any time, when you buy the policy. If you ever request that refund, they will 1)ignore your email, 2)make excuses on the phone as to why they can't access your account, 3)just be rude and hang up on you. It's time for class action.View Less

I purchase a refrigerator a approximately 5 years ago that has required multiple repairs for the same issue. Lowes made the decision to replace under their warranty. I appreciate this type of customer service and makes me a lifelong customer of Lowes and its warranties.

Air conditioner went out on Saturday. Called AHS to report it. Repairman called to schedule a time to come out within the hour. I was not happy that I had to wait 3 days before coming out. When the repairman did arrive, he fixed within minutes; he could have fixed it on Saturday!!

I brag about the company and the plan I purchased! I made numerous service requests and the technicians servicing my home were skilled, courteous and professional. My only complaint is the ...View Morenon-coverage for full cosmetic restoration. I am referring to painting over the section (like a ceiling or a wall) that was repaired to its original appearance before damage and repair work. I had a 2 inch by 4 inch leak ring in my living room ceiling. I made a service request and technicians were sent. Tech 1, cut a hole in the ceiling and found the dripping area and then he went upstairs to cut a 12 inch long by 5inch wide vertical hole behind the washing machine, which was directly over the leak ring. Tech 1 discovered the source of the leak and repaired it. Tech 2, came to my home and patched the two holes made by Tech1. Tech 2 stated that American Home Shield doesn’t cover painting or restoring the repair to its original look. American Home Shield should include cosmetic restoring of repair work to its original appearance in the customers plans. View Less
