Had there been a 0 star rating they would have had it. More like an American horror story I would say. The average wait time is over an hour. Today that was 2.5 hours for me. I would not know where to begin with any of my complaints. They covered nothing on my two policies. They blatantly lied about accepting a refund where they charged me twice on a service fee . They blatantly lied about not having discontinued both services back in July when they said they did and charged me four more months in the sly and refused a refund. They tell you one thing to your face and absolutely record the opposite and insinuate you are the lying party.

I have had to use my AHS Warranty twice since I bought my house. The first was a frozen outside water spigot that broke inside the wall and was leaking thru the sheet rock. One call and a few hours later, my problem was fixed. The contractor was very polite and efficient. He even cleaned up after he made the repairs. The 2nd experience was AWESOME! The a/c and heat unit was 35 years old. It decided to leak freon. Because it was so old there were no parts to be found to repair it and the freon was the old, bad for the environment kind. AHS completely replaced the system and all I paid was my $75 deductible and $300 to the contractor for a few minor things the warranty did not cover. Needless to say, I was and am ECSTATIC with my experiences with AHS. I recommend them 100%. The AC contractor, Jackson Heating and Air, was FABULOUS! No complaints from me. They followed up after 1 month and came and made a minor adjustment and I am snug as a bug in a rug!

The whole process from service call to air conditioner replacement went smoothly. AHS handled everything exceptionally well. Better than I expected. No problems at all.

I signed up with AHS 10/01/2011 for a one year contract. I went with the company because they are listed as "a ServiceMaster Company". I had dealt with ServiceMaster in the past and was pleased, plus SM had a good reputation for responding to flood/fire/water damage calls promply. You know what they say about assuming! I assumed AHS would do the same. I had to replace my water heater this year because of a leak, and with it being a cold weekend, elected to do it myself because I knew from what I had seen online recently that we would be out of hot water for days. I just got the contract renewal papers in the mail today. It has gone up considerably, even though I have not filed a single claim with AHS since I gave them my $56.61 per month for the last year. The new contract would be $734.23 or $61.19/month with a $75 "service fee". I WILL NOT renew the contract when the first day of October rolls around. After seeing all these problem cases posted, I consider myself lucky to have only wasted one year with AHS.
