American Home Shield (AHS)
When we purchased our new home we noticed that both toilets rocked, and one of the toilet anchor bolts was broken. We called American Home Shield and paid the $75 dollar fee, a plumber contacted us, scheduled a time to come out, and fixed both toilets.

AHS was very prompt to reply to my service request and gave a prompt follow-up after repairs were completed. I am very pleased with my experience with AHS and would recommend them to others.

AHS was contacted to repair our pool pump which stopped functioning during heavy rains due to hurricane Harvey. We promptly submitted an online request for repair. We were contacted the next day and the tech came by that same day to assess the pump damage which was determined to be nonrepairable. The tech returned the next day with a new pump, installed it and was very kind and well mannered. In this world of generally poor customer service, we couldn't have asked for better service from AHS. They go above and beyond to satisfy customer expectations...thank you AHS!

They take atleast 3 days to repair. Also you will end up paying thousand of dollar(because they will say we parts , which does not cover.

Good pricing for the services, wish they had more variety in vendors. Some repair vendors are excellent some not so good. Otherwise AHS customer service is great

It's Texas in the summer. I really shouldn't be without ac but I am because these people only have 2 providers in my area (Although there are about 20+ within the immediate area). One is good (and not in my city) and they are booked for the next week, the other is horrible and has gone out of business. Having so few contractors in the area makes me wonder if they are a pain to deal with from the contractors perspective. I asked ORHW if I could pay out of pocket and be reimbursed and was told no. It seems it would be better to have it fixed now instead of the system continually running nonstop for the next 6 days. We recently bought the home and this is our first and last year with this company. Will fund a better company when this thing expires in February.
