Total fraud and sham!!! They charge $100 to schedule a fix.. then it\'s only temporary like for a fridge... For an home AC they work with over priced contractors who jack up the price of the fix to try and get you to get a new unit !!!! Then when you figure out it\'s a sham they make it impossible to cancel and keep billing you !!!!!

Have never had an issue with American Home Shield. They have never denied a claim and were very responsive and helpful when I needed to replace my dishwasher at the onset of covid.

M****** has been to our house now three times for different appliance repairs. He is always on time and takes care of the issues. I would recommend M****** and H***** A******** R***** to anyone on AHS in the Houston area! If they assign another company, do yourself a favor and call and request H***** instead, you will not be dissatisfied!!

Total disappointment. Your advertisements and brochures show you cover specific parts of the HVAC system which includes the Evaporator Coil. You provided only $300.00 to cover the cost to install and replace the existing coil for a four ton AC unit. Your service provider, not selected by me, provided an estimate of $2,500 more to replace the evaporator coil. I believe this company falsely advertises and intentionally misleads consumers. They should be closed and no longer offer home warranty's to the public. The American Home Shield Warranty was provided to me by the seller of the new home I purchased. Realtors make this recommendation based on good will and faith that warranty companies will do as their contract says they will do. This is not the case for American Home Shield!!

AHS is a horribly run company. None of the reps you speak with can talk or communicate with anybody in authority. They will tell you verbally stuff is covered, that is clearly listed in my contract, but then turn around and deny claims to the company making the repairs. They have yet to contact me back, but continue to only speak with the AC company. I have 4 kids and haven't had AC for 16 days at this point and i still can't get any communication from them. Terrible company and why anyone would ever do business with them shocks me. I for one, will never give them a dime of my money.

Reasonably okay - quality of repair is not that satisfactory - it keep breaking again Should have more qualified contractors and the ones who take ownership of the work , they do act timely but quality is lacking

I am pleased to be a customer of AHS. I must admit, I don\'t trust many companies in 2020. As a senior I have been lied to and taken advantage of by other warranty companies. However, my years with AHS have been the most pleasant experience. They are honest and the service companies are professional and polite. When my appliance needed to be replaced it done immediately. I have the highest respect for this service and the cost is well worth the monthly charge.

The assignment of the claim to the contractor was flawless and seamless. The contractor was good, though the work ended up being more complex than first envisioned. The selected contractor did a good job and communicated well.

Excellent response from AHS and wonderful experience with the service tech. He knew exactly what was wrong with our washing machine and repaired one part immediately. The other part had to be ordered, and was installed at 8 am the day following receipt. I have been with AHS for well over 5 years and can not recommend them highly enough.
