Great job. The technician ordered a spare part which was ready the next day ! efficient, fast and friendly. I particularly appreciated the narrow window time for the appointment like : will you be home between 12 and 14 pm. With other companies, we are often asked to stand by for half a day.

I\'m very impressed with American Home Shield, we purchased an older home in good shape. Like HSV, impossible to get rid of!, I cannot speak to claims, but if you really want some frustration, try to cancel your service!! I called one month ago to cancel my contract after the initial term expired. Today, I receive a past due notice for the month of May... mind you this has been automatically taken out of my cc each month until now. Called today and spoke with billing. The previous cancellation was not submitted properly and she said that she would take care of it. HOWEVER, this is just the INITIAL step to cancel. Someone from the Cancelation Dept would contact me with 24-48 hours. I asked to speak to someone today to finalize my request. I’ve been on hold for 25 minutes total and counting. Cancellation Department 800-858-1922. Good luck.

Customer Service is awesome, repairman have been the best. Always do the best job they can. Now for having to replace appliances, i.e. my dishwasher I found that replacing my Maytag with a GE was a step down and I wasn\'t too happy with that, then the garbage disposal, I had a good quality and they replaced it with one that was far inferior......

Original contractor Appliance Protection came ordered part one week later repaired. He left started leaking, he said he ordered new part but a week later decided he could not repair Maytag. Waited another week new contractor needed new door, door not available so American Home would replace. Waited another week for new dishwasher, company the replaced dishwasher was awesome. So first a foremost I am grateful it was replaced, but the quality of the GE Dishwasher is terrible, would give it a 2 out of 10 being the highest.

This Company is sucks- never ever even try! I’m over three years with AHS never been late with the payment, however it doesn’t matter for them. I got a problem with the water heater (leak and we kept water heater OFF for THREE DAYS). We have a baby and you can just imaging how can be without a hot water. Finally after THREE DAYS the technician arrived he didn’t see “the actual leak”. He turned around and left. But I have to pay the fee of $ 60 and wait until my basement will be flooding than they will start to do something!
