Cinch Home Services
Dealing with Cinch was the worst experience I\'ve had in my four years as a homeowner. While I was able to get a service provider out to my house the day after reporting a problem with my air conditioning (Aug. 4), Cinch\'s website continue to list my claim as "pending appointment" for another week. The problem with my AC required further repairs. Temps were in the mid-90s last week, and I was staying with a friend because my house was uninhabitable. On Aug. 8, a Cinch customer service rep told me that Cinch was "probably" going to cover the repairs. The next day, another Cinch rep called to say they were denying my claim because of "dirty filters." (I've changed the filters every three months for as long as I've owned the house.) Later, yet another Cinch rep called to say she was overturning the denial because there was no maintenance clause in my contract, and the Cinch-assigned service provider said they'd get me some pricing options for the repairs. That was last Thursday the 11th. After hearing nothing from Cinch or the service provider, on Monday, Aug. 15, I called the service provider and was told that Cinch had told them -- not me -- that they weren't paying for the repairs because of "improper installation." I immediately left a message for the Cinch rep who "overturned the denial." As of today (Thurs., Aug. 18), no one from Cinch has returned my call. To cap off the incompetence, Cinch has just now sent me a text saying that my "confirmed appointment" is scheduled for today. I cancelled it, and I will not be renewing my warranty. I would rather pay more out of pocket to get the work completed, and to deal with a company who understands customer service.

American Home Shield (AHS)
Plumber arrived in the promised time frame. Repairman was very courteous. One pipe under the vanity sink had to be replaced and the shut off valve for one of our outside faucets had to be replaced. Plumber completed both jobs quickly and explained what he had done.

American Home Shield (AHS)
When I think about the problem, and the resolution,. I think God for the contractors, and American Home Shield. My home was out of water, and electric. With a disable person in the home, the resolution, and timeliness of the contractor was awesome.
