I have received the worst service and customer support from AHS in my recent work order to fix range hood fan. It took literally 14 weeks to resolve this issue by 3 different contractors and 5 visits. I spent nearly 48+ hours on the phone with customer support and took 4 days vacation as contractors came 4 different days to see the range hood fan issue. I spent nearly $300 to clean up the mess which was done by AHS. I informed the same to AHS support teams but there is no response from them. Litterally they put me under lot of pressure and stressful life in 7 weeks with AHS.

This is a horrible company. I have to be online to talk to a representative for 2hrs and then the call gets disconnected and then another 2 hrs.

Only problem is the some contractors working with AHS are not knowledgeable with the repairs they are assigned for. Otherwise I love AHS. Thanks

I\'m glad I have a home warranty on all of my appliances and home as well. It\'s always been quick and easy to get a repair scheduled and the companies contracted have been great to work with as well.I had a problem with my A/C system. It was repaired immediately under my plan with k&j mechanicals. The service tech was extremely good and professionals.

We had a problem that needed immediate attention and we did not get it. We had to go to two contractors before we were able to get someone to come out. Our problem was running water all over the refrigerator. Wee got service the next day. All involved were professional and helpful. Knowing that we had resourses helped a lot.

I had the worst experience dealing with AHS. Signed up and paid for the whole year. 1 month later my AC was not working and they scheduled the service 4 days later. He spent an hour and went out and made some call. And then when he comes inside and call comes at my home number- which I was not picking thinking marketing call and the technician insist that its AHS. And AHS guy explains that repair will not be covered as you have accidental damage to AC. I asked the technician how could it be possible to have accidental damage inside a completely sealed system. He has no answer. Of course there was no such thing, they simply did want to cover. I asked technician to repair anyway- I will pay- but he refused to fix saying - he will loose the job if he does and leaves. I paid the $100 service fee. I had to call some other guy and he fixed the AC for just $150. Then I cancelled the contract. While cancelling I was told that I will be charged on pro-rated basis and will get refund minus 37 days of contract fee i.e $58.70, Instead they charged me 158.00 and refunded around 400.00. That was two months ago. Since then I called 5 times - spent an hour every time on call, and everytime they said - they have charged the service Fee for the technician because technician did not communicate to them and they will refund that $100 back to my account. Later they said oh this takes couple of months and you will get a cheque. Later on they said - sorry you are not going to get any money back because there was and admin fee and extra service cost. So bottom line - I paid 300 dollar in vain and my 5 hours of phone call. I will never ever sign up for any insurance/services for these kind of company. They cover by nice contract - all you need to do is read the fine print first.

First experience - dishwasher broke and caused leak in ceiling on floor below. Their "24/7" emergency service apparently only applies if the people they contract with work those hours...so 24 hours and counting, 5 phone calls to them, 5 times told I would be called back within 1-2 hours, never called back, and yelled at twice by customer service when I call back asking for status update (after they told me to call back if I did not hear back). why do they advertise 24/7 coverage is if they only work with M-F people. Been without water all weekend. Never will use them again. Biggest waste of money.

On 3/14 I had posted a statement (seen below) as a very upset customer of AHS regarding my dishwasher. As a history, my dishwasher is broken...AHS came to fix it again and again and again (6 times). After talking to numerous AHS reps in their customer service center I decided to call my realtor who knows an AHS executive through her company. Luckily I came in contact with an account executive with AHS who listened to my problem, and promptly took care of the situation and now I am getting a new dishwasher. When I wrote the below statement, I was so frustrated and I should have honestly waited until talking to this account exec before publicly airing my grievance. It is now being taken care of by AHS. Moral of the story, wait a few days before making statements. :-)

They have sent out a company to fix my dishwasher 4 times. It is still not working (it intermittently shuts off in the middle of the cycle). The last repairman said that it wasn't fixable and that AHS should replace it. When he told them that, they told him that he has to see the actual problem. I told AHS that they are welcome to stay in my home all day and night until the problem happens (which happens more than often) and they told me that they can't have a company do that. They do NOT honor their contract and like previous poster...RUN from AHS!!!!!!!!!
