American Home Shield (AHS)
First time using AHS therefore I didn’t know how the process went. After they came out and found out what the problem was I thought I would hear something within 24 hours, but I didn’t. But after I called and the lady told me how the process went I understood a little but more. I guess “in review” was confusing for me. Overall they fixed my furnace and I was very happy. They were professional and took time to explain what was going on. I’m glad I have AHS.

I was totally amazed and how quick American Home Shield spring into action when I called them to tell them that my heater would not turn on. I filed the claim online they responded by letting me know an HVAC company would be calling me first thing in the morning. Well they were right, the HVAC company called me first thing the next day set up an appointment for the day after and showed up well within the window they gave me. 20 minutes later my heater was working. What I paid, my deductible was so worth it! I think all of you know how much it cost to get an HVAC company just to walk through your front door. I am so glad I chose American Home Shield for my home warranty company! Here's to a cozy winter

American Home Shield (AHS)
We have had AHS for about three years now and to date, we are glad we do, so far just this year we have had our A/C system go out and our refrigerator/freezer. Each time we called AHS to request service and received great prompt service with knowledgeable and courteous technicians who had our equipment back up and working again within an hour or so. Great job guys!

A total scam. They have so many loopholes that cost you much more money than they save you.

Don't purchase, everything is a preexisting condition or not covered, for example, the refrigerator is covered but the ice maker in the fridge is not! They talk around everything and will never cover a thing! I was so mad that I refused to pay for another year of this non-service.

Not impressed.. Have been a customer for several years and continue to have issues with customer service and timely repairs. This will definitely be our last year with this company. Don't be fooled with thinking the any warranty company will give you 100% replacement cost... Our furnace just went out and AHS is only giving us $930 for a new one. That's about $2000 short of what we will be spending. The companies they send out are not trustworthy and have an established agreement with ARS on charging a 400% make up on items not covered under your contact.

AHS took 4 weeks to get our furnace replaced and to add insult to injury, increased their service fee to $75 from $60 even though we're a long-time customer. Somehow we're auto renewed into another year's contract so we're stuck with them for another year--otherwise I'd have canceled and gone with another company that sticks to their 7-10 repair window and values long time customers. Reading other reviews on here mimics my sentiments.
