I pay my monthly fee to have this warrenty. I used it this month because may AC went out. They have failed on multiple accounts to help me. They do not communicate, appreciate customer service, or seem to care about helping me get my AC back up and running. I am now going on week 2 of my AC being out. I have expressed that I need it fixed by next week as I have family coming in town that have a baby. As of right now it is not going to be fixed by then.

I have had American Home Shield for over a year and I am very happy I made the decision to contract with them. I recently experienced a serious, difficult problem with my gas furnace. Although it did take a few visits from the techs at AHS, they were serious in contending with the problem and stayed with it until it was solved. The men were friendly, considerate, informative on every step, courteous and never left a mess behind. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

I'm happy to have found AHS for my rental properties and home. They take away the uncertainty of cost, and I spend less time finding competent contractors-AHS already did that. AHS holds them accountable in ways I could not without threatening with lawyers. Don't get me wrong, AHS is not "perfect" but genuinely "reasonable" which all I asked for. They have replaced things the contractors could not repair-no question, found and provided expensive parts for old equipment-no extra charge, found a contractor to replace equipment other contractors bailed out on, etc., etc.

I've had the warranty for about 18 months now and have used it twice for a plumbing problem and air conditioning. I've read reviews that weren't good, but I don't have any problems with the company. They came out promptly and fixed the problems. What more can you ask for.
