I have had the most bizarre experience with AHS. I submitted a claim September 10 for an electrician. The company AHS gave the job to, WASHINGTON ELECTRICIAN SERVICE LLC 253-325-5152 NEVER called. I called AHS at least 5 times asking for help. They called the electrician as well and they NEVER received a call back. Twice AHS told me to give it one more week and then they would refund me. On Nov. 7th I called again... and was told they would NOT refund me the $75 until they heard from the electrical company that work was not done. Yet, the electrical company ( which I also have called 4 times) has NEVER returned AHS or my calls. Obviously they no longer are taking jobs for AHS. AHS refuses to refund me. I am totally being scammed by AHS. If anyone has experienced this please let me know.

Total rip off. They will repair your appliances but God help you if something needs to be replaced! They give you about $100 per $1000 worth of replacement cost. We had them and changed companies.

American Home Shield is a great company for smaller repairs. I was very happy when my freezer ice maker was fixed at no hassle. The service was very efficient and timely. However, as soon as cost of repair increases the process becomes very slow as it requires several approval. I had issues with my AC and we had to wait 3 weeks before a part on my AC was replaced. Waiting time from May to August to talk to a customer service representative is at least one hour. There are inefficiencies in billing department as customers should not pay service fee in recalls. However, it took three phone calls and several weeks for American Home Shield to address the issue and correct billing mistake.

Called AHS and explained a micr4owave problem I was having. AHS had someone at my home within a couple days. Problem fixed with no HASSLE........paid $75. Technician was very professional and took care of matter in one half hour. Simple and Clean. Thanks AHS. dave
