Dont waste your money. This is a total scam and rip-off. Plan says for major appliances the coverage begin one-year after manufacturers warranty ends. So if you buy a 3 year plan you should have coverage for 4 years-1 year from manufacturer and then 3 years from *******. Don't buy the protection plan is a SCAM!!!! or don't buy appliances with them at all. My GE washer machine stop working on November 2020 and I still haven't got my washer machine, excuses excuses every time I call. ZERO stars for you and everything else....

Don’t purchase. I couldn’t begin to express in 30 words what a horrible experience this has been. And clearly Home Depot does not back or deal with the plans they sale you for appliances. I don’t want to give even one star.

I had my Amana gas stove less than 5 months when it began to leak from one of the burners, even when all the burners were turned off. After two years with Samsung and A and E Home Depots repair team and better than 12 service calls for the same problem which was a freezer that froze up from day one our claim was not honored or refrigerator replaced or were we refunded. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I’ve now called them 12 times over the past six weeks and get different answers every time. About a third of the time I get hung up on. Absolutely disappointed. I called them four times and every time they give wrong information about when the technician is coming. FYI, I have a relatively new Kitchenaid dishwasher (2 year) which is not working for last one week. They promised to get it fixed by 48 hours but no one is here yet. Made a big mistake buying their protection plan. Get **** instead.

They contract another party to come and do the repair. There is a communication breakdown somewhere between home Depot *******, and the third party thats doing the repairs. The repairman are never informed about what needs to happen from home Depot and home Depot gives you the runaround when you call them back. Every time you call them to try to sort out issues you speak to someone new so there are just too many hands in the pot and therefor too much confusion, so issues dont get resolved They are constantly escalating my claim, which sounds like its just a fancy way to say theyre putting me off so that they dont have to deal with me. I dont know if my situation will get resolved by them or not, but if I can warn anybody else about spending their money with a company who was not going to do their job I want to do it. They will take your money, they wont perform the service that they took your money for, and then they will fight tooth and nail to have to reimburse you for a service that they are unwilling to supply. ..View less

HOME DEPOT PROTECTION PLAN finally told me that a repair guy is coming just to diagnosed the problem and certify that it was still broken after so many attempts to fix it. Because the claims were filed so many times with exactly the same problem, I am now eligible to get the full price of my fridge back. I had been one year calling regarding problems with my refrigerator that freeze everything and they changed some parts and still doing that. After five visits they said it works fine. The refrigerator is a lemon from the beginning is very difficult to they understand client. Always prefer ***** service, was more expensive but worth every penny.

The biggest waste of money, I would not recommend to anyone. They gave us the run for weeks about getting our refrigerator fixed, we ended up getting it fixed ourselves. Their phone system hung up on us multiple times a day trying to get things sorted out. Such a bummer. Please don't waste your time or money with them.

I cannot believe the Home Depot in Three Michigan would sell you a warranty plan through Asurion. After all the reviews I have read on this web site shows the warranty sucks but they keep selling it. Unknownst to me my tenant disassembled the unit anyway. Repair company then rescheduled service twice. My tenant should not have been told to take the unit apart in the first place. Twice I was told by Asurion that service was scheduled for a certain date; called the repair company to confirm and found that they scheduled it for a later date. I finally called a local repair man whom I trust; we put it back together and solved the problem. Had I called him in the first place, the problem would have been resolved in a few days; instead 3 weeks were wasted trying to get warranty service. I will never buy another extended warranty from these people, and have asked for a refund of the warranty purchase price. We'll see how that goes. Purchased LG stove, 18 months later oven wont turn on, called Asurion the company that HD uses for extended warrantys for, 2 days now this week I have taken off work waiting for the repair person to come and never does. Called them several times and all I get is the runaround. NEVER buy appliances from Home Depot, use your local appliance company!

He said that those refrigerators have multiple problems and that the parts would be beordered and my refrigeratior should be back to normal in two weeks. I don't want to bore you with the details but after countless calls and online chats with Asurion it took me on a trip to nowhere. They are dishonest and their customer service is awefull. Over two months have gone by and there is no hope. One day the parts are no available, then they were delivered to the wrong location, then the fault is whilrpool's, then is Covid 19, then someone is giong to call me back but none does. Home Depot should be ashamed of allowing a company like this one to cheat their trusting customers. They will never help you or get back to you. Please, please beware. A call to asurion telling them the refrigerator was a lemon. First call not satisfying which lead to second call going up the supervisor ladder. On that call I requested to speak to their supervisor. Throughout this process of filing a claim I was never confident of a successful outcome. A few days later supervisor #3 called me back. She gathered the details of all the repairs over the five years. She suggested I would receive a positive outcome. Two or three weeks later after receiving many calls asking if I received a check a check was received for the full purchase price $2,714. Because of all the negative reviews I never thought I would receive a check. Not only did I receive a check I kept the refrigerator. In some instances with other warranty plans the refrigerator is picked up. I don’t know how I was so lucky. You the consumer are caught between multiple companies who will not give you a straight answer. If you go back to the store where you purchased the appliance and ask for help they will only refer you back to the 3rd party service companies. The goal is clearly a game of consumer frustration to get you to break down and buy a new appliance after slow playing the process. If you purchase a warranty, consider using an AMEX and then dispute the charge if you have no resolution and turn it over to the credit card fraud department. Also, ask the Home Depot sales rep to add a time frame to the repair/resolution process. I would pay double for the warranty if they would fix it within a week. ..View less

Been on the phone on hold over 2 hours getting switched around. After giving my lengthy information about my washer 2 times I was then disconnected. Again waiting on hold for the supervisor more than 6 minute hold time ******** said. Now 9 minutes...the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. You are just a call for their numbers for the day
