I purchased 3 major appliances from Lowes, Their Extended warranty sucks, I\'ve my washer has had 3 issues, I had to wait and go without a washer for weeks while waiting for someone just to come out AND look at it. then be told oh we have to order the part another week, and then the drain on the washer went out, a very RUDE REPAIR GUY came out he was an hour late and in a bad mood, and finally found the problem only to tell the warranty people it was our fault the drain motor went out because of neglect ??? so our warranty was void because this guy was in a bad mood . so we called and complained absolutely NO response from Lowes cost us over $300.00 to find a outside repair person to fix our washer, and why buy a warranty then??

AHS customer service was lousy. Representatives were disrespectful as I made complaints against various technicians. #1. It took the tech. 3 weeks to turn in paperwork on diagnosis for my washer and dryer to AHS to be fixed. Technician gave me a written diagnosis of the problem. Told me I needed a part that needed approval by AHS. It should have taken him 3 days instead of three weeks. Due to me reporting him to AHS, the tech. changed his diagnosis. AHS did not reprimand the tech or fix my washer and dryer. The tech diagnosis was totally different than the paperwork he gave me. AHS refused to look at the original paperwork which I had. Representatives and customer service had nasty attitudes and was helpful at all. #2. Tech. came and replaced my bath tub faucet...gave me a different brand than my shower head (above it) which was of lesser quality. #3. Technician was approx. 2-1/2 hrs late, past the time allocated. Customer service told me if I didn't accept the tech to do the work, I'd still be responsible for paying the deductable. #4. When I first joined, I paid up for the entire year. I told AHS I was considering ending my membership and wanted a refund for the following months that I would not have service. AHS wrote me a letter stating, I was terminated and wouldn't get a refund. AHS owe me money. They are a disgustingly lousy company with no professionalism. I hope you don't fall into the same trap as me. Hopefully the CEO will make amends. Good Luck!!!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is the absolute WORST experience I have EVER experienced. I pid $75 separate fees for vendors to come to my home I just purchased. Hardly anything is covered ans when something is covered, your company’s ability at follow through, customer sedvice, claims approval and timely communication is HORRENDOUS. I have spent at least 20 hours this week on the phone between you and just 1 vendor. You cancel my requests, you cancel the vendors part request approvals, and I am the one left to follow up with multiple phone calls to get stuff done. Nothing is covered. I spent over $1300 out of pocket on AC repairs. I have smashed in electoral plugs with live wires exposing in my young children’s rooms that you don’t cover, on top of a million other issues. The wait time on the phone is 30+ minutes each call. You can’t understand the employees. This company is horrible and I’m looking to change ASAP.

Reported crack in toilet tank Monday evening. Tech assigned and arrived Tuesday morning, to photograph tank and left, saying it could take 24-48 hours to get approval. 24 hours no response. Called AHS and they couldn\'t give me a status. Called 48 hours and was told they wouldn\'t cover repair as it was not "normal wear and tear." I disputed this as the crack begins from the hole where the flush handle extends. A common area of interaction with toilets. They disagreed and said there was nothing they could do about it. I was resigned to finding another source for repair and asked for a refund for the service call as none was provided. It was refused. Suspiciously, the denial of service was made after payment cleared.

There was a noise, I thought was coming from the wall so I recorded it and played it for M***, the plumber, and after seeing the recording he went right to the real problem. M*** walked me through what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it. He even gave me tips and pointers to use for upkeep and maintenance. Just a side note, M*** was very polite, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and informative and to my surprise, he was quick and clean, I was expecting a big mess. I highly recommend his service.

We received a call from our tenant that there was a water leak in main Bathroom. Being out of the area we put in motion a claim with AHS. Immediately we were contacted via text and email the acceptance of the claim, given a claim number, and assured we would be contacted in 24 hours to arrange an on-site service call. It didn’t take 24 hours just a few and AHS scheduled the service with our tenant. On the service day we were updated continuously of the technicians travel ETA, and there final arrival. At the home our tenant described to us the technician’s professionalism as well their knowledge in this plumbing issue. In about an hour the leak was fixed and no other issues discovered. We could not be more pleased with the entire process.

It has been a total nightmare. Associates are unconcerned on the customer’s extreme situation. Our A/C went out and a tech came out and we were not told by home shield that we would have to pay for the Freon. $825.00 out of pocket. The. One week later out A/C went out again and out temperatures are over 100 and the person on the other end told us it’s not there problem and we have to wait to be contacted by the repair person. Our temperature is over 95 interior and almost 110 outside. We were told we would be contacted by someone within an hour and it has been over 4 hours and no one has contacted us. Ready to change companies.

AHS does not provide service as promised and does not fulfill contractual obligations. I have been dealing with them for 2.5 months for one appliance repair. Companies have stated the appliance cannot be repaired and must be replaced. AHS denies this. In follow-up with the appliance repair company, they state AHS is known for altering our documentation. I just canceled this contract. I used the service once and the person was pleasant and competent. But in the last several weeks I was unable to access the website to review my account or get any other information. I changed my password and made over a dozen attempts. I finally called and after 20 mins was able to cancel the contract but had to pay an early termination fee. This was a very disappointing experience and waste of money. Cynthia Carey-Grant.

****** was on time. Diagnosed problem with microwave quickly. Removed microwave, too cover off, replaced magnetron. Works! Re installed unit. All this in under an hour. Courteous and professional. Highly recommend.
