I was skeptical when I first signed up for water and sewer line protection from my house to the city\'s main lines for $129 per year for both. Well, this month I placed my first claim. The same afternoon an appointment was scheduled with a contractor, who showed up on time, and in 2 days my complex waste problem was solved. I\'m a believer!!!!!!!!

I appreciate all the help from SLW. After having back up sewage and a clogged line for years. It is a blessing not having that problem anymore. The plumbing company was prompt in coming out and they explained what was going on and what was needed. The company called back to make sure that the service was completed and Solid plumbing follow up also. Thank you.

A friend recommended them to me. She had waterlines replaced at no charge. We have used them multiple times for unclogging lines with no concerns. The last time we called, they came out that same day. In December, we had a slab leak. They were able to tunnel under the house and repair the leak. It took three days and was a big job with several employees. I paid nothing out of pocket. Highly recommend.

I had this for several years. I noticed a leak in my front yard by the spickot. I just called, they connected me with a plumber. The plumber was out within an hour and it was fixed that day. So easy!

I signed up ; couldn\'t pay premium online...am still waiting for an invoice...the only downside to my experience with SLW. Unfortunately, had a sewer blockage in Sept causing all kinds of issues; called the toll free number and had a plumber at my house within an hour. They did everything they could until it was determined (via camera) that the sewer had collapsed; they took video, measurements, etc to give to the city. Long story short...a happy ending; excellent service from SLW; new sewer lines on city side; clear drains on my property side. Very pleased with the service.

Continually told I am late on my payment. I receive my bill the day it\'s due or after the due date. Customer service has been nice and say they will fix it.... NOT! Same problem for four months now. I wonder if they will honor a repair bill or tell me I have been late on payment and not honor the agreement... Buy this policy at your own risk !

As for their services, the customer support team sends a pre-screened contractor when a service call is placed. The sent technician are local experts in their respective fields since the company partners with local municipal bodies.

With 3.5 stars on our website, SLWA reflects mixed reviews from customers. While some homeowners have praised the company for its service excellence, others have expressed concerns about delays in claim requests.

Also, Service Line Warranties Of America has an impressive A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and 4.4/5 stars on Google. However, it is essential to consider that SLWA operates in a relatively smaller serving area, which may contribute to the limited number of reviews and complaints.

Editorial Note on Service Line Of Warranties America

Upon our evaluation, Service Line Warranties of America is a reliable option for utility line breaks and repairs not typically covered by municipal bodies.

Their paid utility plan provides valuable financial protection, specifically for repairs and replacements of water, gas, or electrical lines. However, it’s important to note that home appliances and systems coverage may require additional plans from other companies.

One notable advantage of signing up for an SLWA plan is access to a network of pre-screened contractors who operate locally. This ensures prompt and professional resolution of utility line issues, enhancing convenience for homeowners.

Nevertheless, it is crucial to assess for any potential overlapping coverage carefully. Certain utility repairs or replacements may already be covered depending on your existing home insurance policy.

It is recommended to thoroughly evaluate whether the paid utility plan offers additional benefits or merely duplicates coverage you already have in place. This helps avoid unnecessary expenses and ensures you are making an informed decision.

Conclusion

With affordable premiums and no service call fees, SLWA warranties cover plumbing, sewage, gas, and electric systems. The claim process is straightforward, and the maximum caps on repair payments are significant. The company is only offered in a few states and only covers a portion of the systems in your house.

Ultimately, the decision to sign up for a paid utility plan depends on your circumstances, budget, and level of risk tolerance. Before making a decision, it is crucial to thoroughly review the plan details, including the coverage and benefits provided. Carefully assessing your specific needs is essential to ensure that the plan aligns with your requirements and offers the necessary protection.
