We have been burnt by other home warranty companies. Then we discovered BFS. They are highly professional, prompt, knowledgeable and personal. We have used he to fix problems with our micro wave (they actually bought us a new micro wave, they fixed our fridge and ac unity also. We strongly recommend BFS.

I have had a warranty with this company for the past five years, I guess I should have learned. The water heater in my home is not providing enough hot water for my husband and I to shower even when waiting an hour between uses. I have had a warranty with this company for the past five years, I guess I should have learned. The water heater in my home is not providing enough hot water for my husband and I to shower even when waiting an hour between uses. The unit is older than the house (24 year old water heater) which shows minor signed of a leaks and rust/corrosion on the top and bottom seams of the unit. The technician showed up and told me the heating element is going out but since it still heats water it is not an immediate need replacement so they will not replace it. So apparently the system must either leak all over my house and ruin my flooring or stop heating water completely, so I would be without hot water for 4-5 days waiting for a technician, So they offered a buy-out for $750 and if I wait until the unit fails I was informed I will still need to pay in the area of $450 for the replacement. I already paid $415 along with $395 last year and $375 per year for the three previous years (total $1935) with only one claim for an a/c blower fan motor replacement. This doesn't count the visits I paid $55 and nothing was done to resolve my issue. I had an issue a few years ago with my a/c, but thank goodness my son is an a/c tech and realized I had a freon leak inside the house (on the unit replaced by the seller of the home and under warranty, so no cost to BFS for the replacement) before they convinced me to replace the outside unit at a personal cost of $1800 that would not have resolved my issue. the bottom line is you pay large sums of money for what you think is warranty coverage for your household products and come to find out the company is not willing to replace things, even when they admit they are failing (the heater element in the water heater), until there is total failure and possible damage to your home and still a large out of pocket expense when the item is finally replaced. ..View less

I hope their current level of service is not an indicator of future service. Called in emergency AC problem at 0900, it is now 1415 and no call. Went on line to request service but their app couldn’t find me as a customer but I’m looking at the receipt from feb 2020. Now if this becomes resolved or an explanation follows I may change rating but right now I’m not impressed.

Horrible warranty company. They give an outrageous time frame of when they will be out to service your item. They either call and don’t leave a message or they don’t call. Since I started to request quotation the representative was very responsive, i was able to get a 2 year deal. They helped me with the AC tune up and the technician who visited was very kind and He gave me good tip to maintain in good shape my units, i live in the area of Frisco TX and I got the $0 deductible

This service is horrible. AC leak and techs came out 4 times and each had a different solution, most of which would involve extra charges. Finally the manager Steve told me a new AC was needed. I called another company for a 2nd opinion. No new AC needed, the pan needed to be cleaned out it was full of rust and gunk. RIP OFF!

The technician was very knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly. I really appreciate the fact that he, not only called before arriving, but also arrived within the two hour time frame given. The work was efficient and fast. He answered all my questions and gladly took the time to educate me about my system. Amazing service, Thank you!

BFS came out and replaced my heat and ac system. My house has never cooled this good and now that the cold weather is here my house is warmer than ever. Thank you BFS for taking care of my family. We will be using you for many years to come.

Called 8/8 for service. Scheduled for 11am-1pm. Service man arrived 11:15am on 8/9. He was in the house a total of about 15 min. He removed a leaking hose from the kitchen sink sprayer and replaced it with the new one I had. He was fast, efficient and friendly. No mess when he left and I now have a leak free hose. I have full coverage with Broward (replacement). I call for service and usually the next day someone comes for the repair. I request a 30 minute window for arrival and they always call. So far they are a waste of both time and money. A water control valve is not covered under plumbing and gfi plugs are not covered under electric. They wait until morning of scheduled appointment to tell you it is not going to be a covered problem. I could of had someone else out in those two wasted.

We have been very pleased with BFS here in San Antonio. They have gone out of their way to be sure we were comfortable when we had A/C problems. They even brought a huge fan to help us. I would recommend them highly.

We are using the new BFS in San Antonio. They are very knowledgeable and prompt. We used the one in Georgetown and would never use them again. They cheated us out of money to fix the A/C and were very rude. Thanks for being a great staff at the BFS in San Antonio.

The service provided by BFS has gone down to absolutely worthless now a days. In fact there is NO SERVICE! Please do not waste your money! I reported my appliance (just 3-4) yrs old for repair 6 weeks ago, it took 2 weeks to come have a look at it (i am in metroplex). Horrible service. I am out of AC for 7 days in Houston. They keep break their promise and still haven't fixed the fan of the compressor. Will never use them again nor recommend to anyone.

Extremely satisfied with the plan my realtor gave us as well as the service received from BFS. I called to have my A/C repaired b/c is was running hot and BFS responded promptly. We had a BFS tech at the house within hours. He was friendly and knowledgeable, A/C fixed within an hour. I highly recommend BFS and will be renewing our contract next year!

The absolute worst warranty company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After paying a $55 deductible, the repairman came to my home to fix my dryer 3 days later. He had the audacity to say "this is a pretty easy fix, do you know how to do this yourself?" No, I don't know how to do it myself, that's why I called on you! The part, a timer, was ordered. It took 6 days to come in. I was then scheduled for the repair appountment on Monday 6/5/17. I got a call from Amber, the receptionist, at 8:46 AM on Monday stating that their repair tech had called in sick, and that they would need to reschedule my repair, even though the had the part, to Thursday 6/8. I called back after a couple hours and demanded to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor called back after 2 more calls to ask what the status was. I asked them to come the next day, as I had now been without a working dryer for 2 weeks. After a confirmation from Roxanne, another receptionist, the supervisor made a service call to my home the following morning, however, I never got a call back as to if my dryer was fixed. I called the office and was transferred to the supervisor. The supervisor stated that he had broken my selector knob IN HALF while servicing the dryer, and that he was going to order that part and that it would arrive within 5 MORE days. I resolved the issue myself, by purchasing the $11 part that he had broken and replaced it myself. I plead you to never consider purchasing a warranty from this company. When I called back they tell me I need to pay another $55, for what? It's the same exact problem and you made it worse. After fighting with the crappy representative I hung up and will never use the service again. No wonder all the reviews are bad. I guess it's a game they play.
