    Review: This service is the best! It gives us peace of mind that any major outages or large home appliance repairs are covered significantly. This makes owning our home much less scary and allows us to enjoy our house even if there are somethings that might go bad on us. At least it won\'t break our bank if they do. The monthly cost for this peace of mind is great too!

    Review: Bought a house and the seller paid for the home warranty. I thought this would be great. When we moved in, the washer connection was leaking. I called AHS and 3 days later a plumber showed up and said to fix the problem he would have to cut into the wall. He could not fixed it then, but would have to come back later on in the week. And you guessed it, this was not covered under the warranty. He said he could still fix it, but it would cost $275.00. I called another plumber and he came out the next day and fixed it for $152.00. And yes, I still had to pay the $60 deductible!

    Review: I ordered a new microwave on December 18, 2012 because my old microwave broke. I am also a new homeowner and the warranty was an incentive for purchasing the home. After speaking with a representative on that day, she told me that I should be receiving a new microwave within 7-10 business days. On Thursday, January 3, 2013; I called to check the status of my order since it had not arrived. The representative apologized and said that my order was never closed out correctly. She said she would expedite/rush my order. I asked if I would receive my microwave by the Saturday or the upcoming Monday (2-3 business days). She said yes. On Monday, January 7, 2013; I received a phone call from a representative explaining a disclaimer to me. After I approved the disclaimer, the representative said my order would be rushed to the manufacturer for shipment. I would receive my microwave within 7-10 business days. I asked why it hadn't been shipped yet; she said there was nothing she could do. I then asked to speak with her supervisor. He said the same thing; that there was nothing he could do. He did say that when issues like this occur, the product "usually" ships before the 7-10 business-day window. Today is Thursday, January 10, 2013. I received a phone call from the manufacturer that my microwave will be delivered to my house on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 - roughly one month from when I placed the original order. I am completely unsatisfied with this company. Neither the representative nor the supervisor wanted to help rush the shipment, even though it was the company's fault the order didn't process correctly. I will not recommend this company to anyone. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB.

    Review: We had an ac problem recently and called AHS...The repair person was prompt, efficient and diagnosed our problem immediately...We could not be more pleased than we have been with AHS...The young many that came out was very personable and knowledgeable.

    Review: The contractor came within the designated time frame. He was knowledgeable about my washing machine and knew exactly what was causing the problem. He had the necessary tools with him and the extra parts needed. He allowed me to watch as he repaired my washing and answered all of my questions. The repair took little time and was thorough.

    Review: I needed plumbing work done, and thought it was going to be replacing the shower spigot base in the wall. Called AHS and set up an appointment with a local plumber. They called when they were on their way and actually arrived earlier than expected. They found the problem to be a screw in the base that was going bad. Replaced without having to tear out the wall. Very professional and didn't try to pad the bill.

    Review: Honestly don't believe this service is worth it. Two contractors came out for my heating unit and gave me the most idiotic answer. I'd been told an animal was trapped in my venting pipe. The first contractor got on the roof the second time he came out. This was after waiting 2 weeks for a part you could easily get at an appliance store. Second guy comes out says "Yup , something is stuck in there", he never got on the roof. I called the roofing company, they said nothing could get in the pipe it was sealed properly. Even had a scope put in the vent no creatures. Had an certified repairman come, found out the header was cracked. The unit could not be repaired, but needed to be replaced. It even explained the "water damage" they claimed my unit had , because the unit was not properly condensing and was dripping moisture.

    Review: I have been with this company since 2004. They started out good. They have went down according to the service I have received. I had a hot water heater that went out around February of 2015. I did not get it repaired until July 2015. They get my money every month. I now have a plumbing stopage as of September 28, 2015. Today is October 3,2015 and I'm still waiting on repairs. A lazy plumber came out late in the evening and I guess was ready to get off. So he claimed he could not do the job unless he went on the roof. AHS took his word and canceled the work order and did not bother calling me to give me the updated information. I told AHS my septic tank opening is the size of a man hole and not the normal size small hole and the worker can run a snake from there. My word was not good enough I guess and they canceled the work order until I called them back and asked questions about the my work order. So now I'm waiting on a second opinion. I'm paying for service, not paying to be basicly called a lier because the company they use has poor work habits, and claim he couldn't do the job unless he went on the roof and I pay him an extra $125.00.

    Review: I have been with this compnay for three years and have come to the conclusion that they are chronic liars and train their representatives in the art of manipulative skills to "appease" customers. There is not enough internet space to adequately and thoroughly describe and define all of the unethical issues with AHS. To be blunt, don't waste your time and money. There are for more reputable companies in buisness.

    Review: Old Republic is my first home warranty company. Generally they have been responsive and friendly. However, it is the quality of the repair companies that they contract with that I have had an issue with. Two have promised to return with parts and never had. One was dishonest about the repair work needed. I am switching to another company that can afford to contract with better quality companies.

    Review: The assigned contractor set up an appointment quickly, and arrived promptly. Their repair work highlighted a serious fault that would have required constant repair were the system not replaced. Everything was handled between them and AHS, and all I had to deal with was being available to supervise the installation.

    Review: About 2 months ago a blade on the fan for our heat pump cracked. We had to shut down the unit to prevent further damage. In May it was already in the mid 90's in Alabama, so air conditioning is a must. Within a day of calling AHS the unit was repaired and running like new.

    Review: Our first experience using our AHS warranty came as a perk of our home purchase. Since we bought the house in October, but the year was paid through March, by the previous owner, we got a "free" trial of sorts. Yes, we still paid the service fee, but not the yearly rate. We were pleased with our plumber who helped us fine tune multiple "short sale" home issues. He was knowledgeable, and professional. We were happy with our first experience using the AHS network and it helped us in concluding to renew the existing contract.

    Review: My experience with AHS has been great and i can't imagine how it would have been had i not sign up. My Realtor / agent introduced it to me and i am forever grateful. I am contacted within the first two hours of making my request and the contractor works with me to set up an appointment; i am given first 4-hour window of showing up at my place which the contractors narrows to a 30-munites (give me a call just as the Tech sets out to my place!). The tech was very professional, looked at the issues and explained what was going on and the solution. The only issue is with the web service request: the scroll down is not explicit and sometimes it’s difficult to pull up the exact issues you have, other than that, it’s been a very rewarding experience.
