DO NOT GET THIS WARRANTY COMPANY! They are Scamming us to get money but not provide service. Amazing sales guys but will not cover your claim. I paid for 6 years and after a year when I finally had a claim they made up things to not approve my claim and To** Pea**** - Operations Manager was extremely rude and accusatory although i provided all the supporting documentation. You will do more work with 0 outcome. They just want your money. I paid for a specialist to come diagnose my HVAC system and they gave their recommendation to First Premier Home Warranty, I had to call and reach out over 6 times to get a status and next steps then they asked for 3 years of maintenance report which i provided and then they asked for proof of payments which point i was fed up as i spend more hours trying to provide reasonable documentations then i should! Next, ask for my birth certificate?? When I asked to have my money refunded and whom I can talk to about this deeply unsatisfactory service they wouldnt provide that info and got extremely rude. I would have rather flushed that money down the toilet then pay to company that just wants to scam you when you need them the most.

I have had the most bizarre experience with AHS. I submitted a claim September 10 for an electrician. The company AHS gave the job to, WASHINGTON ELECTRICIAN SERVICE LLC 253-325-5152 NEVER called. I called AHS at least 5 times asking for help. They called the electrician as well and they NEVER received a call back. Twice AHS told me to give it one more week and then they would refund me. On Nov. 7th I called again... and was told they would NOT refund me the $75 until they heard from the electrical company that work was not done. Yet, the electrical company ( which I also have called 4 times) has NEVER returned AHS or my calls. Obviously they no longer are taking jobs for AHS. AHS refuses to refund me. I am totally being scammed by AHS. If anyone has experienced this please let me know.

Lowe’s Protection Plans

I am pending parts and repair on my oven-microwave combo thru my extended service warranty with Lowe’s. I received an automated call from my Lowe\'s-contracted service provider this morning and have since spent about 4 hours attempting to get some sort of satisfaction. I honestly expected a call from the sub-sub-contracted repairman that was sent to our home 7 days ago. He was a good guy. Knowing that orders for parts, especially electronic parts are very backlogged, I figured that 5 work-days was too optimistic. What I didn't expect was that the call-back number provided by A&E (the contracted service provider) thru this automated call would be a non-working number. So, I called ASSURANT Lowe's contracted Protection Plan manager to complain and the first thing they did was give me the same phone number that I got from the automated call this morning. When I told them that the number was incorrect. They told me that at this point it was A&Es problem. Why would they tell me such a thing. Because I can make you squawk like chicken if phrase things proper. They were doing the best to follow the #@&^% script that Lowe's makes them use to deflect every single effort you make to get some real information. Bottom line, they couldn't or wouldn't change my service to a different service company for the repair. They couldn't communicate with the sub-contractor directly. And…they couldn't answer the questions I wanted answered. I hope the Lowe's contracting officer and everyone above him are tried and convicted for their crimes against humanity. After talking to the supervisor's supervisor (meaning they passed the phone to a peer twice), I consented to getting a call back from a real person within 48 hours. See, I got people flying here in three weeks. I must either cancel on them or rip this #@&^% oven out of the #@&^% wall, throw it in the garage and buy a new one. Then, if they ever do fix it, I got to sell one of them. I am NOT unrealistic here. I already know those are my only two viable options. What I want first a is realistic timeline for this back-ordered part. Lowe's has got logistics people falling out of their ass-ends working on mitigation strategies, probably to their own benefits. They can get one #@&^% Lowe's corporate goon on the phone to tell me #@&^% personally how they plan to mitigate this. Or at least try to make me feel like they #@&^% care about their #@&^% customers. I told that supervisor’s supervisor that the person who calls me in two days must not give me the same standard spiel. I want an apology from a real Lowe's corporate goon. I want a status on my #@&^% back-ordered part. And... if I must get another oven, I need a promise that they will fix the old one while it is in my garage so that I can re-sell it. They have already lost my business forever. They still have a responsibility to me. If this were the other way around...I'd be reported to a credit agency and potentially have my credit destroyed. What punishment for them? What #@&^% punishment for them? Nothing! How did we allow ourselves this from corporate America? Something must and will be done about it. I appreciate your attention to this matter.

American Home Shield has not been a good value for us. We have paid premiums of $77. per month and made co-payments of $125. in May for a roof leak and $125. in July for a septic system alarm going off. Despite speaking with their customer service representatives more than 20 times, no one have come to our home to assess or fix these problems. I cannot recommend this company to other homeowners.

The service that was provided to be by America Home Shield was prompt. The company sent out a professional to attend to my appliance issue. The Technician that troubleshoot my appliance was able to figure out the issue immediately and he was able to provide me with a solution to the problem. Since the part I needed for my appliance was not available American Homestead was able to send me a Gift Card for the purchase of a new appliance in a timely manner. From start to finish AHS was able to get me back up and running to meet my needs and therefore I wanted to express my gratitude for all of your assistance.

Don’t do it. Over two weeks since the service tech came out….parts “back ordered” with no expected delivery date and A&E refuses to call the distributor to see if the part is even available. They say the will wait 3 weeks and see if they ever get it. If they don’t they’ll send the order back to Lowes. They had scheduled the repair for today but never called us or notified us in any way. Just we’re not going to show up.

Great coverage and good local repair companies. They do not look for reasons to decline your claim. Great to work with. Customer service is in an Asian country with language barrier and they don’t seem to be able to make decisions. That is the only reason for the 3 stars on customer service. The overall rating is still 5 stars!

I had the misfortune of 2 appliances failing refrigerator and water heater within a span of 3 months between March and May 2022. I am super glad that I had the AHS insurance and they covered and paid for both completely! They were prompt in assigning contractors for both cases. In the case of the refrigerator, they had sent 3 different contractors to get multiple opinions and diagnosis so it took a little longer (2 weeks or so since problem was happening on and off ), but at the end, they paid for a brand new replacement and hauled away the old one. All in all it took about a month or so to resolve, but I could not have done it any faster, myself. In the case of water heater, the whole process took about a week. No hassles! They replaced the old unit ( A * S**** brand) with a modern R**** brand. Again very courteous and professional thru out. Really recommend AHS.

Am very pleased with the support by AHS in honoring their services of repairs on my washer, range, and approval for like for like replacement for a microwave oven. I am in the process of shopping for a new replacement. I am probably going to shop on my my own and receive credit check for the money amount as warranted by AHS. The whole process has been very successfully handled expediently and professionally. I am confident that “installation” of the new replacement microwave that I will be purchasing will be covered by AHS. Thank you so much!

Very bad, have not resolved the issue been waiting since 2/23/2022, they admitted its wrong,& supervisor hung up on me. They caused me pain & suffering, stress, & loss of sleep. I\'ve begged them to help me,said there\'s nothing they can do but wait but yet they continue to take my money out every month & I have to wait. I will not recommend AHS to anyone. I don’t do reviews but my experience with AHS was so impressive that I wanted to give them a shout out! They were friendly, helpful and fast. They sent me a picture of the repairman that was coming to my home, which I greatly appreciated. The repairman put shoe covers on. Overall excellent service from beginning to end!

Most expensive, unethical racket in Home Warranty business. Bought a 6 year, $2,500 warranty. (Monthly cost: $34.72 a month). Had 2 claims. Both deemed irreparable. Fought for 25% and, 10% for payouts! Cancelled after 10 months. Had to fight to get a $600 refund!!! Expected around $2,150 for 10 months.
