Fidelity Home Warranty Cost

The annual premium for the Fidelity Home Warranty plan may range between $350-$450. The monthly home warranty plan costs between $30-$40. The exact price may vary depending on your State, size of the house, and the number of additional coverage items in your home warranty plan. The company charges a service fee of $65-$75, to be paid to the service technician upon completing the repair work.

Fidelity National Home Warranty CLAIMS

The service claim can be filed on the Fidelity Home Warranty website or by calling their toll-free number 1-800-862-6837.

  • Once your request has been raised, a qualified service technician is assigned for inspection within 3 hours. However, it may take up to 48 hours during weekends and holidays.
  • The service technician sets up an appointment by calling the registered phone number. The technician pays a visit and examines the appliance or the system.
  • Once the problem is identified, the technician repairs or replaces the appliance. After the repair work is complete, a service fee of $65-$75 is payable to the technician.

Fidelity Home Warranty Plans Limitations

Fidelity Home Warranty plans cover home systems and appliances failures failures due to normal wear and tear during the contract term. The company does not cover repairs or replacement due to abuse, misuse, or lack of general maintenance of the appliance. Post repairs, the company provides a 30 day workmanship guarantee on labor and 90 days on parts. FHW will not reimburse repairs and replacements that have not been authorized by them.

This company is horrible. Extremely poor customer service. Wait times are an entire day, and longer. There is now way to contact them online. I've never dealt with a company this horrible. They still need to repair my AC and now they are cancelling my annual contract.

Still a horrible company! After formally filing a complaint they finally dialed back…after waiting 2-months… FidelityNatlHomeWarranty then made me pay out of pocket $379 for an in warranty repair of an AC unit they had installed a year ago! Now they won’t return my calls because they cancelled my Contract. Do not use this company.

Customer service rep at Fidelity kept asking they need to send another technician to re-diagnose 3-4 month-old problem to proceed with the case. At that point, we were tired with technician visits and the only solution was to cancel Fidelity policy and fixing our problem ourselves. From beginning to the end, the issue was handled very poorly. Avoid at all costs. Save your premiums, service call fees, and what you are going to have to pay out of pocket to fix what their contractors break and you will be able to pay for all repairs through contractors that you research and vet. FNHWs customer service is atrocious. Most of the time they dont answer the phone and when they do is to be rude and condescending.

Before moving in the PROVIDER, came out because the water wasn't getting warm and a metal order coming from faucet. He inspected increased the temp gauge to 125. NO usage until 3/27 for hot water. Placed an EMERGENCY service call Sunday evening, no response next morning until I called. Bottomline; same PROVIDER came out to inspect. His paperwork submitted to FNHW "Cust needs new water heater". Called to see if I can expedite install, they say there process will be 24-48 to approve and then another few days for install based on PROVIDER. Can anyone reading this take cold showers in Oregon when its barely spring? I am going to pay for a new water heater and have it installed. I have been trying to call this Co. for a week. I have called unless 20 times at different hours of the day, waited each time at least 73 minutes with no luck! My tenant has been without a refrigerator for over 1 week, she had surgery and she needs ice! I will never recommend this Co. to anybody again!!!!

Our dishwasher stopped working. We contacted Fidelity, who sent a technician out. The technician failed to find the issue and then falsified his report stating he replaced a valve. When found the the dishwasher still wasn’t working a second call to fidelity was made and the same technician came out (at this point we are now being billed a second time for work that wasn’t conducted properly the first time) who stated he couldn’t fix it, and then took pictures of the unit (highly rude as well). My wife found the broke. Piece at the bottom of the dishwasher and showed it to the tech who still states he can’t figure out how to fix it. I have been with this company in 3 different homes I’ve owned! 2 weeks after moving into new home my old hot water heater died. Within 2 days brand new one was installed. Dishwasher wouldn’t drain they were out with new pump and was fixed and still running well. Sink faucet replaced, toilet replaced. Washer fixed! How in the world, this company is still scamming people is unbelievable. I have been without air for 3 weeks. Mind you they have came out 7 times. Issue not fixed for a year. Now this time they will not call me back even with the call center sending them emails. To see if the maintenance is covered under warranty. They had to get approval for the test. Test took a week to run. Now day 6 after the test and diagnosis, no response. I was told today they had 24-48 hours to respond. They can't transfer you to anyone to even get your point across. I have two small children and two dogs. It's 100 degrees in the desert. How do you treat people like this and claim it is ok. If you do a test, you should know if the diagnosis will be covered. Now if it is approved I need to wait for parts, which I was told would be 3-5 days. We are going into Thursday with no answer, which means thru the weekend no air.
