I’ve had Fidelity Home Warranty since 2000, three different homes. They have never denied a claim, have sent out professional workers and have saved me headaches galore. I’ve had many claimed over the years and am always happily surprised they continue to renew my contract yearly. I can\'t say enough good things about Fidelity. I’ve read bad reviews abou them and am puzzled because my experience has been stellar.

I have been with this company in 3 different homes I’ve owned! 2 weeks after moving into new home my old hot water heater died. Within 2 days brand new one was installed. Dishwasher wouldn’t drain they were out with new pump and was fixed and still running well. Sink faucet replaced, toilet replaced. Washer fixed! They just keep showing up for me and my friends who I’ve recommended to fidelity. All I know who have this warranty couldn’t be happier!!! They are so worth it, every time!

I called Fidelity National because my heater had stopped producing heat. Much to my surprise the technician that called lived in my complex, the next building over. He was at my door 10 minutes later fixing my heater. He also changed my filter at no charge. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I\'ve had this warranty for 2 years and it seems to be worth it so far.

I cannot stress enough how awesome this warranty has been for us. Going on my 3rd year renewing right now. I pay $75 per service call. Let me see what I can recall so far. Oil stove ( alternate source of heat, in addition to central ) Couldn’t find any companies to come work on my unit. They allowed me to find a licensed company, hire , repair, and pay on my own, then they reimbursed me within a week just under $900. Had 3 plumbing issues, about $800 worth, all fixed in one day and very satisfied. Double ovens, stainless steel, Kenmore. Digital board quit working, got brand new kenmore double ovens installed Ana’s purchased from Lowe’s. Extremely satisfied. Dishwasher dispenser quit opening, that repair took a long time, but he replaced a bunch of parts in there, works like new Had a toilet leaking from the base, had a small grumpy plumbing company come out, saw 2 weeks later it was not fixed, got upset and called fidelity, I told them I didn’t trust the guy and don’t want him back in my home, they sent me a new company out, he fixed it properly, and no 2 nd service call charged to me. They have exceeded all of my expectations thus far.

My heater was not working. So I called my home warranty company & they sent out a company called Anthem. They did an amazing job! Fidelity over delivered! Thank you! I highly recommend Fidelity Home Warranty!!! The technician that worked on my unit was Julian Ramirez & his colleague. They were both very knowledge, professional experts, friendly & hard working! 5 Stars!!!! Thank you!!!!

I was shocked to see all the low reviews, but I have called Fidelity 3 times for repairs. The first call, they came out, technician looked at two of our appliances, they could not be repaired and he submitted his report to Fidelity. They replaced both our dishwasher and refrigerator. As we checked out the specs on the replacement fridge, we noticed the ice-maker capacity had less volume than our original. My husband called Fidelity and they reviewed specs and offered another model that met all the previous specs/bells/whistles. I was in shock how easy that process overall was. I am skeptical of home warranty companies and chalked it up the excellent experience to being a fluke. Fast forward 2 months, our Heater went out this week. We called the company that installed the unit & no help there. We called Fidelity in the afternoon and they had someone able to come out the next morning. Repair technician had us up and running the same day.

Trustworthiness & Customer Service of Fidelity Home Warranty

Fidelity National Home Warranty (FNHW) has over 40 years of experience serving homeowners, builders, and realtors. By prioritizing customer satisfaction, the company offers different plans for homeowners, agents, and brokers.

Although the company benefits from being associated with a prominent company, it is essential to consider customer feedback and experiences when evaluating its overall performance. And notably, being a part of one of the largest title insurance and settlement services providers, Fidelity has received a below-average Google rating of  1.7 from  2600 users.

However, Fidelity’s empathy towards its customers is shown in its responses on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) platform. Over the past year, they have successfully closed 424 out of 1900 complaints, showcasing their commitment to addressing customer concerns.

As for the plans, the company offers four plans which aren’t standard in the industry. All versions of plans include coverage like pest control, rekey, and central vacuum system. By including such services in their standard plan, Fidelity Home Warranty tries to accommodate homeowners’ needs in their budget. This effort to provide value-added services within their standard offering is notable.

Also, Fidelity offers optional coverage for a wide range of home features, including pool equipment, ornamental fountains, and outdoor kitchens. This means you can tailor your coverage to fit your specific needs and protect the items most matter to you.

Suppose you are searching for a home warranty option that provides a diverse range of coverage and allows you to select a payment plan that suits your needs. In that case, Fidelity National Home Warranty may be a favorable choice for you.

Editorial Note on Fidelity Home Warranty

After a thorough evaluation of Fidelity Home Warranty, our editorial team finds that the company has made efforts to design plans and pricing structures that cater to customers’ needs.

While the company provides coverage starting at $300 p.a. for various home systems and appliances, customer feedback highlights the need to improve claim handling efficiency and responsiveness.

Despite the competitive pricing, the company must prioritize timely and satisfactory claims resolution to enhance overall customer satisfaction. By addressing these areas of concern, Fidelity Home Warranty can further establish itself as a reliable and customer-centric service provider.

Conclusion

In conclusion, while Fidelity National Home Warranty is a former player in the house warranty market, there are significant concerns regarding the company’s online experience, firm cancellation policy, and customer service.

Therefore, it is advisable for potential customers to thoroughly research and consider alternative options that align more closely with their needs and expectations.
