The Home Service Club (HSC) considers themselves innovators and industry leaders in the field of home warranty. The company’s core focus is on home warranty products and they serve across 48 states in USA. HSC has a large network of independent contractors who are picked after careful screening. The company also conducts frequent surveys and analysis to ensure that each customer is satisfied with their services.

The company takes pride in the host of services they offer which consists of a 24 x 7 customer service wing, an extensive network of independent contractors and a dynamic website that provides easy access to their services.

HSC website lets users read about their plans, sign up for a warranty, place service request and complaints through the internet. The website also hosts numerous articles on home maintenance tip. The HSC website can be considered as a one-stop- spot for everything you need to know about them.

HSC believe that their plans provide confidence and protection to their customers. Their plans cover repairs and replacements of devices irrespective of their age. The company does not mandate a home inspection prior to purchasing the contract.

HSC has two main home warranty plans - Standard plan and Comprehensive plan. The former covers all the primary appliances and systems in a home and the latter covers almost all the household appliances. Users have an option to purchase additional coverage from their list of add-ons. Service call fee comes in three option -$65, $95 and $125.

Home Service Club is an award winning company which garnered a lot of positive reviews from their customer through good services. The company won the Best in Service award for the 2015 Annual Home Warranty Awards. Recently, HSC won the 2018 Editor's Choice Award.

These guys really came through fro my dryer. The dual heating element had burned out. Since the element is not standard, they had to source the heating element from the town over, at least a 30 minute drive each way. Although, the process for getting this taken care of was easy for me, I entered the claim online and just had to be there when the workers showed up.

I was having problems with my oven so I went online and followed the instructions on their site for entering a claim. Rich called to make and appointment later that day. He came, as scheduled two days later. They tested everything until they found the problem. It took them over an hour to complete the job but I now have a working oven.

I had a problem with my electric range. I like the folks that HSC sent to fix the range. They are a father/ son duo. The dad trains his son in the business. The were friendly and fixed the range but paramount for me, they educated me on a variety of appliance related problems and preventative maintenance tips. I like that HSC hires local mom and pop types repair companies.

These guys come through when you need them the most. Two weeks ago I had to call them for a leak. They had someone here and the job was completed with in days. My wife loves this service.

My garbage disposal just stopped working. I live all by myself and I am the least handyperson i do not know how to fix stuff. Can't say much. I have just one experience with having to enter a claim. I have only been with these guys for less than a year but they seem reputable. A lot of my neighbors used them. The one claim that i have had with them was three weeks ago .I was sure of a leak in my duct work because it took forever to get the desired temperature. Sure enough,I was spot on. Our bathroom has no windows and so we rely heavily on the exhaust fan. Mold and mildew are terrible in home pollutants. Jack, the tech that HSC sent us, found that the fan was not exhausting properly. If we had only relied on the sound that it made when it came on, there would have been a major negative impact to the health of my husband and me. When he arrived he examined the problem but opened his big work bag and took out the exact burner that I had to replace the broken one. Having an old house in Alaska can be trying sometimes. I came home from the airport to find with utter dismay my heat wasn't working. In cold Alaska winter, that is a disaster. One less thing in my life to stress over. It’s just a moment of Zen for me when I think ‘well if it breaks, at least I’m covered. Luckily, I’ve only had to call once, for my dishwasher. The best part was that since they could not fix it, they just replaced it! I like having the peace of mind knowing if something breaks I can rely on them.

Since I have been with them, I made 3 claims and in each instance they were prompt and straightforward. I’ve been happy with the techs that they send. Considering all the repairs that we needed so far, the warranty has already paid for itself. Well worth it.

Very attentive. I felt that they were empathetic over the phone when I called about my furnace. I had kids yelling in the background and I was just so worried that the furnace would take long to fix but the man I spoke with assured me that it would be resolved quick. The HVAC personnel was there by late afternoon. He managed to fix it before dinner. Nice guy.

When water heater broke down, I called and spoke to a real person right away. HSC sent us a plumber who had the water heater back to working order in one visit. Def. 5 stars.

Our kitchen sink became clogged on New Years. I called the main line, expecting to leave a message. A Home Service Club claims person answered and helped us file on the phone. Although no one was able to come to our house that day, they scheduled us for the following day. The tech cleared the clog fast!

Our washing machine stopped cold right in the middle of the spin cycle leaving us a machine filled with wet clothes. I removed all the clothes and wrung them out in the process while my wife called HSC to let them know. The appliance specialist that arrived said that it is a fairly common problem and can happen to any washer. He was able to repair the machine in the same day.

He told me that I would get a call to make a repair appointment later that day and sure enough an hour later I got the call. I peeled the veggies for dinner and he and I made good conversation while we worked. When I was cooking, I turned on the exhaust fan as I usually do so that the house doesn't become smoky. It took me some time to realize that the exhaust was not working. I had the music going. My mom's home health aid was beyond slow in calling HSC to make the claim electrical wiring issue, after asking her several times to call for my mom, I gave up and entered the claim online. It was fast and a lot less time consuming than I thought. The electricians that HSC sent, came to my mom's house and fixed the wiring for her. Her health aid reported that they were very polite and kept the noise down so that my mom could rest. view less

The call to enter a claim for my washer was easy. The operator that took my claim told me that I would receive a call from the specialist to make an appointment for them to come to my home. My appointment was scheduled for the next business day. The technicians local office called to let me know that the repairman was in route to my home. The technician figured out what needed to be done and he repaired it quickly. He also gave me some maintenance tips for both my washer and dryer. view less

I needed my huge expensive ceiling fan to be fixed. It just would not work. It is a key feature in our living room and entryway because the ceiling is real tall there it works to circulate the air for the entire house. My husband entered the claim online, as I have no patience for those things.. A tech comes out, determines he needs to order a part and schedules a return visit after the part arrives. It took three days to get the part. I would have rather that they keep parts in stock, after all they are suppose to be a repair company. Otherwise, it was a good experience and the fan is working well now.

My dishwasher stopped working after I had just loaded it up with a sink load of dishes. It was late in the evening and I had hoped to put a wash and have fresh clean dishes for the morning, not to mention an unusually clean kitchen to wake up to. But alas, my dreams were short lived, because as soon as I tried to start the wash, it was clear that I had a problem. I went on the Home Service Club website and filled out the claim. I had a leak back in January and they quickly repaired it for me. I called The home Service Club and I got a call from the plumber. He was out the next day and he thoroughly inspected my pipe. He said right away that the issue was a broken valve. He was dead on with that. He had the necessary supplies to repair the leak in his truck so no need to wait for anything. The job was done fairly quickly and I have not seen a drop since. view less
