Warranty company sends out another company. Yet again same thing, order parts wrong part and then doesn’t work. Did that 2 more times and now they were supposed to come out today with more new parts but what the warranty company sent was the wrong part. So as of today Nov. 1st, 2021 I still don’t have a working fridge. It has been unplugged and not working now for almost 4.5 months. My family of 5 have had to use a mini 3.2 cu fridge for that long. They just keep giving me the run around. I will add that this same thing happened to my family 5 years ago with the last refrigerator from h******. Wish I learned the first time. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from ********* with an extended warranty. I called the claim center in June of 2020 because the ice maker malfunctioned. Repairmen have come out twice and have not fixed the problem. In September 2020 they decided they needed some replacement parts. I was told all parts would be delivered by November 15th. My top load Lg washer needed repaired within 3 years. I had purchased the extended warranty. I filed a claim 4 weeks ago. The service person has been out 3 times, twice with the wrong part! They said that Warrantech would call but after a week of waiting I called and they said they need to send someone else out for second review. Two weeks later the company they sent said they are equipped and experienced to fix any refrigerator, they gave their opinion and diagnosis and said call warranty company the next day. The next day I called Warrantech and they said that the 2 people they sent out were not certified to fix my refrigerator, so the representative said she will send another diagnosis repairman to once again diagnose issue. I asked why on earth would you send 2 companies that cannot fix the issue especially when one of the repairmen told me their company can fix any refrigerator system. Well she had no answer other than call back the next day and they would schedule a THIRD tech to come out. I called the next day and a new representative said "that the claim is now in review to be replaced and we will email you within 3-5 business days with results". After 8 business days I called back and they said the request was never sent to their "claims" department. This whole process has been a joke, and I would NEVER recommend using Warrantech or their partner of companies. Beware Warrantech/Pacific Sales as they are one of the major warranties Best Buy offers. This company is of no value and a complete waste of money on an extended warrenty. Kitchen Aid water filter box seems broken, or malfunctioning..... they don't cover it. Came home to water all over hard wood floors as there was no power to refridgerator/freezer. All power worked throughout the house. ..... again they don't cover it under warrenty.

There service doesn't even deserve a star. This service is a total rip off and the people on the phone have no clue as to what is going on let alone what day it is. DO NOT PURCHASE an EXTENDED WARRANTY with these people they are a total RIP OFF. Worst customer service, can't even keep their end of the paid agreement in line. My next steps are to contact an attorney. Totally a rip off.

In January 2017 it stopped making ice I called them they came out, and replaced ice maker, that didnt work so they came back vaccumed the vents that didnt work, they came back replaced a panel in bottom of freezer that didnt work, came back replaced compressor that night the whole fridge quit ruined all my food, they came back said there was a line leaking they repaired that and it did make ice...for two weeks then the whole fridge quit again and ruined my food for a second time, they came and looked at it on May 1st and had to order another part which wont be here until May 22nd so I had to go buy another freezer, and fridge to keep on spare so my 4 children can eat. One of my kids which is a 7 month old who lost all his breast milk twice due to failure. When I call the company they said I had not reached my limit of claims for the same item. The tech has been to my house 10 times. They just say "sorry for the inconvience" I paid $2400 for the fridge and $500 for the warranty which is useless as the paper it is written on. ..View less

Told me I had to reschedule. 10 days later they told me the unit could not be repaired and it was my responsibility to return the unit and install the new one. Second unit failed in 16 months. Temperatures were exceeding 100 degrees with 75% humidity. They could not send a tech out for 7 days. I replaced the unit myself and when the tech came out to inspect it, he spent 5 minutes on it and said it worked fine. A $400 A/C It is now sitting in the corner of my garage while I argue with them. Third unit failed after 18 months. After multiple calls and 14 days, they offered me a cheap $150 unit as a replacement. When I turned it down, they said that they are under no obligation to replace the same unit. I took a store credit for $163 to replace a $265 appliance. AND I have to replace it once again myself. These warranty policies are a joke and a total ripoff. I have spoken to supervisors only to be told that they are no obligation to take care of me. Under the policy, they can take months to repair a unit and are not obligated to replace a broken unit with the same model STEER CLEAR!! Terrible company. Refused dishwasher service saying it was cosmetic, when it would have been covered under the original warranty. Only after 5 calls, 4 hours of my time did they agree to fix. they were hoping I would give up
