Lowe’s Protection Plans
Service on extended warranty for LG dryer does not get repaired by the person they send out to repair it. This is the third time this guy refused to diagnose and repair the dryer. It might have something to do with me refusing to let him use the toilet. The first time he clogged it up. When he came the second time for the same issue and asked again to use my washroom, I said no and so he said nothing was wrong with it and left and it never got repaired. I waited and finally called again because it is so loud, and same thing all over again. I paid a lot of money for my warranty and the useless dryer and I want my money returned or the unit repaired by someone who doe not need to use my toilet. I asked for a different service man, explained what happened and they sent the same guy, St*** *., who was literally here for 5 minutes, said nothing is wrong with it and left. Lowes and LG have both failed us.

Lowe’s Protection Plans
Bought a wine chiller in 2019 wth 4 year protection plan. It stopped working. Four calls to the Protection place and I got 4 different responses and directions. The last one said they would call me within 2 days to schedule a repair. Nobody prior to that call said anything about scheduling anything. Needless to say, no call, no repair. Lowes refuses to give refund even on the Protection Plan. They claim it is between me and the protection plan people even though Lowes sold it to me. So, I'm stuck with a wine chiller that doesn't chill. Several years of shopping at Lowes and even have a Lowes credit card. Means nothing to this company. I've cancelled card and will go elsewhere.

American Home Shield (AHS)
Horrible Experience. AHS uses lot level contractors. Issue with my fridge was NEVER resolved after over 3 weeks. Customer service reps would NOT transfer to a supervisor or management. I was always told that they are waiting on the diagnosis from Rands Mechanical, day after day, week after week........AHS allowed this to continue for weeks without offering any assistance to me the customer. They kept saying that they would reimburse my service fee of $107 - NEVER DID. After almost 4 weeks of going round and round and round to no avail I cancelled my policy with AHS........And they charged me $65 to do it!!!! Not even the courtesy of waving the fee for all the inconvenience we suffered. I DO NOT recommend American Home Shield.

During the extreme heat we\'ve been having our AC started acting up. One quick call and the next evening we had a tech out fixing it. They were great explained everything to us and even told us how to keep it in better working conditions. I\'m so glad this was part of our mortgage closing stuff. It saved us so much money and hassle trying to find someone to fix the issue!

I feel like I\'m a victim of \'bait and switch\' ... I\'ve had AHS for about a week and ending it to go to another company, almost everything that was promised coverage by the sales team is being denied by the service team. The plumber sent was rude and unprofessional, has multiple absolutely terrible \'Yelp\' reviews and I\'m being giving the choice of either having the same unprofessional 'technician' do the few things actually approved or start the whole week long process over with a new plumber. Every time I call (about 6 hrs time in 2 days) I'm either told they cant help me or I'm promised service that isn't actually forthcoming and the next representative doesn't have in thier notes. Some company will be doing business with me for the next 30 years but not AHS, completely sucking the fun out of being a new homeowner

I am a very upset customer at this time. It is June 24th, I just called AHS to schedule my yearly air conditioner check. I was informed that this promotion only run from March to June 6th. I was informed that emails were sent out with this information. I informed customer service supervisor that I do have a busy life and don\'t pay attention to all emails. Plus, on the email there are no dates listed for promotion at all. When I purchased plan last year I was told about yearly heating and air conditioning check, not once did anyone tell me about a time frame that this should be done. Supervisor advised me to call contracted company to schedule through them with their fee even though I pay AHS monthly for this service to be free yearly. This is ridiculous and I am really reconsidering changing home warranty company.

T** M***** services were great. Additionally they were flexible enough to call me prior to my appointment date and got me issues resolved 3 days sooner than the anticipated time frame. Lastly they gave fixes and self-care steps for both appliances to prevent futuristic problems unrelated to the ones I was experiencing. Great customer service.

IF THERE WAS A WAY TO PUT ZERO OR EVEN NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD. This is by far the worst experience I had ever in my life dealing with any company. The lack of professionalism, the clear attempt to scam a customer, and the bounce around to wear one down is ridiculous. First I put the order to get a tech come to house to look for the AC unit that stopped working. Tech came and states that the compressor broke, due to normal wear and tear and it was at the end of the lifespan, and he was going to put the order to have it replaced. 5 days goes by and I never heard from anyone. Called AHS and they said that the order was closed and the compressor was not covered. I explained to the rep that she was mistaken, that per the contract the compressor was in fact covered. After a brief discussion and being put on hold she comes back and states that yes it was covered but they were denying the replacement because it was at the end of the life of the unit. I obviously dispute the fact that the whole purpose of getting a home shield is precisely to be covered of things like that and per their advertising and their web page and their contract it should be covered. Put me on hold again and came back a few minutes later and says that it after reading the report from the tech it was determined that it was a pre-existing condition. So, in 15 minutes I been told 3 different things completely opposite to each as excuses to not honor their contract. I clearly state this to the agent and ask her and explain the conversation I had with the tech. She kept insisting that they deny the claim. Here gets better. I ask for a manager. After being on hold for ONE HOUR she comes back and says there is no managers available and she was going to call me back at 8 pm to try again. She did. Another half hour goes. No manager. She opens a ticket to have a manager call me. Well, funny, how a company that their main business is the US, have their reps working on a different time zone. The "manager" calls me at 3 AM in the morning and left a VM on my cell phone, stating that since I didn't picked up the call, they were closing the ticket. Now after 2 days I called again, and after half an hour of arguing they agreed to ask for a second opinion. To send someone else and based the decision on that. but that if the decision was the same I will have to pay the fee for the visit (see how they try to intimidate a borrower) I agree and after 5 days a second tech comes (let's not get into the issues with them getting late and missing the appointment time) explained to the guy what was going on. Tech laughs and says, yep that's what they do. Guy check the compressor and states that it's normal wear and tear and that specific unit tend to die sooner than most. He will put the order "in a clear way that they understand and can't refuse the claim". Guess what? they deny the claim. And here I am, on the phone since an hour waiting for a rep to start arguing. Bottom line: I have all documented. I will present all to the attorney general of Ohio, and to the better business bureau and start legal actions against American Home Shield. So if you are a homeowner in the state of Ohio, I suggest that you move your business to another company since they might loose the ability and license to operate in Ohio, and out of common sense, avoid them at all cost.

Member since 2017, first claim 2022. AHS agree to replace built in wall oven/microwave unit. Sent a link stating let\'s go shopping, clicked on the link, called ASH due to there were several units multiple units listed. I was told I only had the option for the first one listed and it was out of stock, and it could be years before it becomes available. They offered cash in lieu, which is not even enough to cover my replacement unit, pay, installation and disposal. The is borderline fraud, they said yes we will replace my sorry nothing available to you, even though they continue to increase my monthly fees, when I called about the increase, I was told its due to inflation. I also spoke with a supervisor (Kevin) on 03.29.2022 he was extremely rude and refused to have his manager call me. His word was his manager is untouchable and does not return customer's call. My issue is still unresolved.
