The company called me promptly after my request for service. The tech came and evaluated my fridge, had to order parts and came back in a few days when parts came in. My fridge works great now. I\'m very satisfied.

I was having an issue with a toilet and water hammering. The repairman came in a timely manner and fixed the toilet immediately. He could not however, address the water hammering problem as it is not covered in HS\'s contract. I was pleased with what he could do.

Member since 2017, first claim 2022. AHS agree to replace built in wall oven/microwave unit. Sent a link stating let\'s go shopping, clicked on the link, called ASH due to there were several units multiple units listed. I was told I only had the option for the first one listed and it was out of stock, and it could be years before it becomes available. They offered cash in lieu, which is not even enough to cover my replacement unit, pay, installation and disposal. The is borderline fraud, they said yes we will replace my sorry nothing available to you, even though they continue to increase my monthly fees, when I called about the increase, I was told its due to inflation. I also spoke with a supervisor (Kevin) on 03.29.2022 he was extremely rude and refused to have his manager call me. His word was his manager is untouchable and does not return customer's call. My issue is still unresolved.

Good fix this time. Technician took time to determine problem. Found solution and fixed issue. I did not get charged since the original was not 100% fixed.

Appointments are always quick. The techs are polite and and on time. I like that specialized techs are referred for the tasks and not just a serviceman. American Home Shield is always polite and caring when needing a call.

AHS is a great asset to have. AHS makes my life worry free. They\'re response time is great, and they have a contactor at the house immediately. If there is a bigger problem than I thought, I can count on AHS to get it solved and have it fixed without delay.

My heat went out on a Tuesday, and it was 6 degrees outside. I had a new motor in my furnace by Friday. I was surprised how quickly everything was taken care of and I was nice and warm again. The technician and company were great!!!

Cinch Home Services

My heat pump malfunctioned and was only blowing our cold air. I contacted customer service and was very clear I had NO HEAT and the temperature was dropping to single digits that evening. They were no help at all (in addition to being VERY difficult to understand). All they kept saying was-the earliest we can have someone come out is 3 days!! When I asked what was the protocol for emergencies, no response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I will not be renewing my plan.

Quick to respond and contractors reply same day or next morning. Contractors usually come the next day, work fast, efficiently, and friendly. Never had a call back and AHS is better then the first company we had. Never had to pay anything but deductible charge. Choice Warranty cost us a AC condenser coil.

I can only add to what the previous reviews state, terrible service. My home came with a prepaid warranty from one of their subsidiaries, Cinch Home Warranty. Still awful customer service, third world phone representatives, long wait for appointment, then after appointment day had almost passed and I hadn\'t heard from anyone, I called and asked for ETA for tech. I was informed no one was coming, they didn't have enough technicians but they would try to get to me in 3 days. No phone call to let me know, person just told me it was a good thing I called. I then called Cinch and asked for my service fee to be refunded to me and I'll find my own repair service. I realize a dishwasher isn't as critical as heating and cooling but it does just confirm what you can expect with this company. 0 stars

Oustanding response time to the initial service request and equally outstanding response from the service tech. Quick appointment, showed up on time, very professional, dryer back up and running in less than 30 minutes from arrival of technical. Over 5 stars, 10, great.

We are happy with the service and renewed for a 2nd year when the time came. Only complaint is that many of the customer service reps are very difficult to understand and sometimes the conversation can be frustrating.

We are new to the program. Scheduled a plumber for a water spot on lower level ceiling. He was very timely and professional. He found a leak in our shower pan drain and fixed it in about 15 minutes. We had also discovered a small leak in a downstairs shower, but he was not allowed to look at that as we did not have that on our ticket and explained to us how each item needs to be on your request or it cannot be looked at.

I did a follow up on the status of my claim today. ahs states my claim was completed and closed out by frogpro. NO REPAIR was done and I was told he would contact ahs to setup repair. frogpro asked to use my phone to help me receive a message he sent from his phone. the message was a survey he answered about frogpro services . all reviews about frogpro are true. lies / tricks /scams ASH sent him he dogged them about how they do business. ahs will play our recorded calls

Our elderly A/C unit was on it\'s last legs during one of the hottest spells we\'ve had in years. 90+ degrees daily and over 70 at night with horrible humidity. I\'m disabled and have 7 dogs in my home as well. We all suffered. When I called, I told the person I was having trouble understanding and they very kindly slowed their speech and spoke up as I have problems with my hearing, too. The company they chose for me came out the next day and found many problems with my unit but had it up and running in no time, thank Heaven. It needs replaced but will limp along for now. It's slowly going back to not keeping up cooling the house so the kind technician will be paying us another visit soon. I could only wish that ALL of the companies they send were so prompt and knowledgeable. The company that came out to repair the well line never came back to finish the job even though the owner told me in person that it was shoddy work. They tore up my walls and left the piping hanging out in the room from the finished walls and called it good. When they left, they ran over the landscape lighting and crushed it. Many ignored phone calls later, I've finally given up, which I'm sure was his intention. Then the contractor who came out almost IMMEDIATELY to install a new hot water tank and well tank (that I paid for out of my pocket!) didn't come back to remove the old tank, which was clearly negotiated on the invoice and the check I wrote to him for the blue well tank. Many phone calls and months later, I'm still waiting. Very disappointed in Mr. Rick Lake as he was so quick to help. I really believe that instead of ASSIGNING a contractor they should give you a choice from their list so you can get a contractor that you might be familiar with their work. Just a suggestion....

I HAVE HAD COV WITH AHS FOR OVER 10 + YEARS. I HAVE BEEN WAITING ON RESOLUTION WITH MY AC SINCE 7/9/2021. I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD CHOICE OF A PAY OUT RESOLUTION OR TO AGREED WITH A REPAIR AND PAID $2100.00 + I ADVISED THE REP THAT I WOULD LIKE A PAYOUT SO THAT I COULD PUT IT TOWARD REPLACING THE UNIT. 1 HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS AND STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE PAYOUT OR HEARD FROM ANY ONE . I FEEL I AM GETTING THE RUN AROUND AND NEED THIS RESOLVED AT ONCE. THE SUMMER TEMP IS VERY HOT 90 DEGREES AND I HAVE NO AIR IN MY HOME. MY DISPATCH NUMBER IS 75978807 AND AHS NUMBER IS 1-833-603-0586 . I HAVE CALLED BUT NO RESPONSE

Called for service on a leak with my shower and also a leak in the kitchen sink. Called the contractor the first business day after I placed the request online on the weekend. A plumber was sent to my home on Tuesday and he was able to fix the kitchen sink leak, but did not have the part for the bathroom. It is now Saturday and still no part. I am not happy with this lack of service follow up on their part. I have called twice to find out about the part and still no answer. Please help.
