    Review: In all honesty... I could not have chosen a better Home Warranty company. While I have endured long waits on the phone and slow turnaround times, in the end, my issues were always resolved to my satisfaction.

    Review: After suffering through 10 years of shoddy service our contract was not renewed by AHS. No explanation given. Just dropped. They have replaced a pool heater and a/c unit over the decade, as well as some other minor repairs. But after spending over $10,000 in warranty fees they drop us after replacing our a/c unit. They have a lot of fine print and by the time you add up all the $60 in service fees I'm not sure you come out even. They do whatever they can to not replace an appliance. They will send a tech out 4 or 5 times and pay to replace parts far exceeding the cost of a new replacement model. In the meantime, you are without the appliance for weeks. After 10 years I say go somewhere else for a home warranty!

    Review: I was charged a service fee for work that did not get done. I never once was able to reach a human on the phone when trying to schedule a repair. Ultimately, several weeks after requesting a service The work was not done and I am still paying a full fee. I have had several home warranties and this is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.

    Review: I called Americia Home Sheild and stated that my range was not working.. They immediately responded to my concern. Within a few days they sent an techinican to my home and he evaluated the problem. He calle AHS and explained the problem and told them that my range was not able to be fix. AHS acted upon that situation very quickly. Within a few days AHS called me and asked that I give some information on my range and once I gave them that information they had me a new range within a day or two and told me when the range will be deliver to my home. I did not excpect AHS to respond that qucikly. Keep up the rapport with yur clients. Thanks for our quick respond to my problem.

    Review: My wife called on Monday as we had no heat on Sunday.NO HEAT IN WINTER IS AN EMERGENCY!! She informed them about my health and having no immune system. Why wasn't the heating company sent out right away? NO On Monday the tech came from Budget Air Conditioning, Heating, and Plumbing at about 3PM. He said that they would have to order a part and since he wasn't getting back to the office until late it would probably be Wednesday before we would have heat. But they waited until late that day to come out. If they would of came out earlier that morning the part would of been acquired earlier. Then Jackie their receptionist calls Tuesday late morning and says they have the part but their are other customers ahead of us so they'll be out Wednesday. I said isn't no heat considered an emergency. She said yes but we have customers ahead of you with appointments. When I called AHS and told them this Dee called to find out what was taking so long. Dee called back and said we had to wait for our scheduled appointment. Again IS NO HEAT NOT AN EMERGENCY!! EMERGENCIES have always been taken care of first where we come from. THAT IS WHY IT'S CALLED AND EMERGENCY. AHS was no help. I would never recommend this company. Now I am fighting a cold that could threaten my life. While all this was happening the reps at AHS lied about frozen pipes being covered if it occurred while the heat was out and my wife was told that because the furnace went out due to the previous owners drywall work that AHS would cover a furnace cleaning. Evidently that was also a lie. Even though our contract states insufficiently maintained equipment. Don't buy from this company. Save your money!!!

    Review: We were very happy with the service we received. The service man arrived promptly and called when he was on his way. He was very clean and cleaned up after himself.     Review: my heater in my house went out on 1/16/14, repair company could not come out till the next afternoon. repairman took the broken part out this was on a friday, than said the company will let me know on monday when they could get the part to repair my heater. did not get an answer till wednesday 1/22/14 that the part would not be available till after the 31st of the month. the weather here has been below 0 to about 30 degrees ahs did not care and would not replace heater, but instead told i had to wait till the part came in. i will not be renewing my contract with ahs nor will i refer anyone i know to this company. they dont care that people freeze in their house. every time i call them it's always 20 or more minutes till someone answered the phone, plus i was hung up on twice.

    Review: BEYOND FRUSTRATED! If I could I would give negative stars. According to this company's "GUIDELINES" its acceptable for my basement to flood because their computer algorithm says that they can't cancel a work order (scheduled for next Tuesday) and go with a company that is in their network (provided by them) who can come out 5 DAYS EARLIER. As a homeowner these "GUIDELINES " are totally unacceptable. Talked to a supervisor named BILL who was worthless and of no help AT ALL. He told me that IF my basement starts flooding give AHS a call back and then they will treat my case as a priority. He says they "don't work based on hypotheticals" of a basement flooding. So you tell me that my basement has to flood FIRST before another company is called?? Definitely not what a homeowner who has been with AHS for 6 years wants to hear. Seriously thinking about taking my business elsewhere after this one.

    Review: Personal service from companies is OK, just seems that a similar problem with furance happens every year or two. Last problem was within 7 months and AHS would have to change deductible again just was not happy with outcome.

    Review: Quick, clean and right to the point. the service man came in did the troubleshooting, isolated the issue and made the repairs and was clean and quick He also explained what he found and what he did, clearly and concisely.
